While he was cursing internally claude asked him

" do you know who am I?"

Cale looked at him with a blank expression on his face and cold eyes his voice as cold as his eyes as he answered without any hesitation

"His majesty the emperor of the obelian empire"

When claude hear him say that he was taken aback by his voice which so cold that he remembered his childhood and felt a tengle in his heart then he remembered how he was when he was young and felt terrible because he became worse than his father

he made his child suffer like him but then he released that he had his mother back then but this child doesn't. He also wished he'd answer like  athanasia did when he asked him that question and he was also disappointed of not being called 'father' or 'papa' by his son but when claude remembers what he did he felt some guilt and claude being claude he didn't show it on his face as he looked away

Athanasias' pov

She was eating her cookies when she saw cale spacing out and she was amazed at his courage as he was that calm while claude was looking at him.

And then she heard claudes' voice.

If she was in his place she'd have been shaking violently when she heard claude ask cale the same question he asked when they first met each other and she was curious of how cale will response to him.

when she heard what he said she was shocked and what shocked her more was claude just looking at her like nothing happened then she remembered when he asked her that question she thought if she doesn't act innocent and cute he'd kill her on the spot.

Cale was just eating cookies.

when athanasia saw that to end the awkwardness she started talking to him

"Cale do you want to try this tea it makes you feel like flowers blossom in your mouth and papa also likes it"

Cale just nodded because he was really curious about it and it doesn't contain that cursed fruit then he picked up the tea in front of him and took a sip.

Honestly he didn't like it, hell what did they like it about? its just a sugar with water so he just drunk it with difficulty. his face full with disgust he takes a cookies and ate it.

Athanasia saw his disgusted expression and asked

"Didn't you like cale?"

Cale asked her with disgust

"Why are calling a sugar and water a tea "

Athanasia became speechless because of how serious cale's voice was

"No its really a tea "

"Then why I don't know anything about it. I know all teas in the empire "

"Because it's from mom's hometown it called lippe app tea"
