THIRD PERSON POV

Y/N took a deep breath, trying to catch her breathe. They were walking for quite a long time, Weird stuff started happening! Even the path seemed like it was changing, The air in this strange world felt thick and heavy, Y/N wiped the sweat from her brow and glanced around, her companion, Mr. Crawling, tilted his head in curiosity. Slender and ghostly, he retained an air of gentle mystery even in his eerie form.

"O-okay, let's take a deep breath!" she exclaimed, trying to catch her breath.

"????. ?" (You Tired ?) Mr. Crawling tilted his head.

"Yes, very," Y/N replied, plopping down on the cool, unseen surface beneath her. Mr. Crawling, with chilly hands, gave her a gentle pat on the head. His touch sent shivers down her spine, not from fear, but from a sense of comfort.

"Thank you..." Y/N pondered how to express gratitude in his ghostly language. With a determined expression, she exclaimed, "Uhm... Mr. Crawling!"

He tilted his head again, as if he understood her.

"How say gratitude?" she asked, her voice hopeful. Mr. Crawling gave her a puzzled stare, furthering her curiosity. Do ghosts not have a word for 'thank you'?

"Gratitude show?" she tried again, but his confused expression told her that they might be out of luck on that front

"Gratitude show?" she tried again, but his confused expression told her that they might be out of luck on that front. "Oh, well, that's fine!" With a gentle pat of reassurance to Mr. Crawling, she stood up. "Let's keep going!"

They ventured further into the shadows, entering a room that opened into yet another dimly lit pathway.

Suddenly, a faint, mournful sound pierced the silence—a voice, soft and sorrowful. Y/N stopped and turned her head, straining to locate the source. There, huddled in a corner, sat a girl, clutching her knees and hiding her face.

"Huh?" Y/N approached cautiously. Something was clearly wrong. "Uhm...?"

Mr Crawling went closer to the girl and spoke "????, ???. ?" (What Wrong ?)

"????, ???, ??" (My Shoe Gone) The girl pointed to her feet, her voice filled with despair.

Y/N cocked her head. What was the matter? Her stomach twisted with concern. Mr. Crawling pointed at the girl's feet as well, On her right shoe she had one pair of shoe, on the other one it did not. Maybe they were hinting at her shoes?

"Her shoe?" Y/N realized, her heart sinking as she looked closely. The girl was missing a shoe!

"Could it be in this room?" Y/N wondered aloud, glancing toward the door leading to another hallway. Her fingers rested on the doorknob, but before she could turn it, Mr. Crawling tugged her shirt gently, shaking his head.

"???.!" (Come. !)

Mr. Crawling then crawled over to a small hole in the wall, gesturing insistently into its darkness. Y/N leaned in closer, but the gap was too deep for her hands to reach. Mr. Crawling's gaze seemed to plead with her.

"Wait! My crowbar!" Y/N exclaimed, remembering the strange tool clipped to her belt. She quickly grabbed it and poked it into the gap, feeling around inside. After several moments of grappling in the dark, a glimmer of something caught her eye. With one final tug, she successfully retrieved a shoe!

"Ah! This must be her shoe!" Y/N exclaimed, holding it up triumphantly. She turned to the girl, who still looked on with tear-filled eyes. Y/N approached carefully, lightly tapping the girl's shoulder as she offered the shoe. "U-uhm..H-here! This is your shoe, right?"

The girl removed her hands from her face, her eyes lit with joy as she took the shoe.

"???, ????. !" (Me Grateful) The girl said as she clasped y/n's hands together, smiling at the girl in front of her. Is she thanking me?

"Oh! Thank you!" she smiled, mirroring the girl's enthusiasm. Y/N learned another new word, Thank You!

Just like that, the girl vanished into the silvery air, leaving behind a shimmer of thankfulness.

Y/N smiled, then turning her focus on the crawling ghost, "Thank you!" she says with a huge smile on her face, Mr Crawling had been helping her after all! He's such a one of a kind ghost.

"Well... another endless walking, great—" Y/N started, her voice laced with mock exhaustion

 "Lets go.."
