Arrlie was a tranquil person, not one for adventure.
This changed when she met Ghost, Zeyn, and later Dira, three of her now closest friends.
One day, during their regular conversation, Arrlie spoke up.
Arrlie: What if we explore other worlds, timelines, and alternate universes?
She was sounding optimistic and childish, so as not to be taken seriously. However, because of Zeyn's curiosity and judgmental look, she questioned.
Zeyn; What the fuck do you mean by that???
Arrlie: I mean exactly what I said! What if we explore random shit-
Ghost: That made no sense!!
Arrlie: YES IT DID-
Zeyn: NO. IT DID NOT!
Arrlie: MOTHERFUCKERS COULD U EVER SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME SPEAK?! GOD.
Dira: I wasn't a part of this, right?
Ghost: No, you are.
Eventually, Arrlie stopped getting frustrated and argued back with Ghost and Zeyn. She took her bag and left to go home. However was still pretty upset after the day.
(I mean, I would too if my friends didn't take me seriously. Actually, what am I saying? I am the last option in my friend group.)
The next day arrived as just another boring school day from 6 to 11 AM. Arrlie had become a bit quiet, looking at her phone for most of lunchtime and barely speaking to her friends that day. Which in her seatmate's eyes was not normal of her, but didn't give a thought about cuz either way would it matter? Probably not to him or anyone else in Arrlie's classroom. But still was a bit of an odd minor event.
after the school day ended, Arrlie walked home with a fellow classmate... who she wasn't very fond of at all, and they are only walking with each other just because their houses were two roads apart.
As soon as Arrlie got home, she ran over to the nearest bed and past out, booted up a game to play. But oh of course, because this was only the beginning of the story, she got transported to the game along with her friends who also made the same mistake.
