In a world where quirks exist, where heroes defeat the villains and save the day as always. Most people know that society is what makes a villain; most don't know... or don't accept that some are born with this small effect, making them... insane.
Izuku doesn't know how, but if he does know something, is that he was born insane. Starting to hear voices and hallucinate at such a young age. He could hear everything, and see what others couldn't.
Sitting in class, he could hear the footsteps from the teacher's heels, the sweat in bakugos hands, the pencil being sharpened, the chewing from the disgusting fat classmate, the spit from the kid talking, the teeth chewing on the pencil, kids coughing or sneezing, and the different quirks being shown off by his classmates. He didn't know how, but he knew he hated it.
He hated everything in that school, the atmosphere, the teachers, his classmates, especially Bakugo, with his arrogant personality. But everyone seems to love him somehow, just because he has an explosive shiny quirk based on sweat (which he found disgusting) making him super cool... apparently.
They found him weird, he knew it. But he didn't care, all he wanted was to leave that place. Staring at his desk spacing out he heard the bell. Everyone left, it was recess time already. He sighed and stood up slowly as he made his way outside with his lunch. He sat on the bench and opened his bento, he looked around watching the others play leaving their food to the side. Playing was more important. Such stupid kids.
"Hey, Deku!" he heard an annoying voice calling his name. He knew who it was, he just didn't care.
"Don't ignore me, Deku! You're not deaf."
He called again, throwing the ball at his face.
It hurt. He watched his bento on the floor and the food on his clothes. He looked up and watched them laugh. Oh, how much he hated those laughs, he wanted to rip them from their throat and smack their head against the wall.
"Ha! What happened, Deku? Drop your food?"
The blond one made fun as he kicked the food on the floor.
"I hate you... I hate you so much bakugo."
He whispered, "I'm going to kill you."
And before Bakugo could react, he already had an angry izuku on top of him, punching his face with his small hands. The kids around him began to scream once they saw blood.
But Bakugo is not a weak child, with an explosion he throws Izuku away from him.
"Midoriya, bakugo!" a teacher cried "That's enough, you two!"
"Let me go! He started this, he punched me first!" bakugo said throwing a tantrum.
Izuku stared at him holding the side of his face. It burned. And he hated that feeling, his face burned so much he wanted to cry, and all because of Bakugo. It was all his fault.
"Have a seat please."
The principal said with a small smile. But Izuku could see it. He didn't mean it.
Ms. and Mrs. Bakugo, and Ms. Midoriya, as you were informed, your children got into a fight that became a bit violent," he said, adjusting his glasses. "Bakugo is a smart child, but it's no secret that his attitude can be... let's say, aggressive.
Izuku closed his eyes and reclined against the chair. It was stupid, his mom was behind him holding his shoulders, and he could feel her nervousness. He could sense the angriness from Bakugo's mom and disappointment from his dad. But he was happy, he wanted to smile. Because he could feel Bakugo being terrified, the sweat going down his face and accumulating on his hands.
"And Izuku... we have discussed this, Ms. Midoriya. Izuku is a quiet child; he doesn't bother anyone at all, but he doesn't participate in class, which is quite alarming."
The principal took his glasses off and rubbed his eyes. A heavy sigh came out from his mouth and he looked at both parents.
"I just don't understand, how did this happen? What made you two fight?" he asked
"He started the fight! Izuku, he punched me first." bakuko yelled pointing at Izuku with his finger.
"Katsuki!" his mother called "Don't be so bold!"
"Hah! But he punched me, he jumped on me and punched me!" he continued accusing Izuku.
"Liar." izuku interrupted him. The room went quiet and Bakugo frowned angrily.
"Liar..." he repeated "You threw the ball at my face, and spilled my food." izuku whispered making a fist with his small hands "And you laughed at me, with the others..."
Mitsuki looked at her child and scoffed. "What? No, that's not true. Bakugo would never do something like that." she denied.
"Sorry, but my kid is not a liar." inko replied holding Izukus's shoulders. "He must be saying the truth."
"Are you calling my child a liar?" Mitsuki raised her brow.
"Take it how you want, izuku is not lying."
"Okay, calm down" The principal raised his hand, tell me, is that true, bakugo?"
Bakugo looked down, feeling the weight of everyone's gaze on him. His parents, inko, the principal... and Izuku. The green-eyed boy stared directly at him, piercing into his soul. Bakugo bit his lip and held Izuku's gaze. They remained silent for a moment, and then Bakugo opened his mouth to speak.
"No... that's not true..."
Such a stupid thing to say. Izuku stared at him in disbelief, he wasn't lying, and they both knew. The principal sighed, as Mitsuki smirked and Inko shrugged izukus shoulders.
"Okay... I don't want to make this a big deal and take your time. I will give the two of them one day of... call it suspension." the principal said as he signed some papers.
"What? And that's it? Are you going to let this kid lie about what happened?" Mitsuki cried angrily
"Excuse me, you are not going to call my child a liar, I have been respectful to your kid this whole time!" inko spit back as she protected her son.
"Ladies calm down" the principal called.
"Oh, please! Don't act innocent, you must know what you have. Your child must be like that for a reason. Probably because a figure is missing in his life."
"Don't bite your tongue, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Even if two figures are present I can see its no difference at all. You think you're all that don't you"
"Okay! Ladies please this is a school"
The principal called back. Masaru was trying to make things calm down but it seemed it was no help.
"Excuse me! This is school properly, calm down." the principal yelled "Both kids will have one-day suspension, here are the reports. Please make your way out and solve problems outside."
Inko grabbed the paper as she carried Izuku and made their way out. Izuku could see her frown, and he knew she was angry.
"I'm sorry, Mom" Izuku whispered looking down once his mom put him down
"Oh, Izuku. There's nothing to be sorry for. It's not your fault." she gave him a smile fixing his hair.
"I wasn't lying... I promise..."
He cried playing with the fabric of his shirt.
"I know, honey. I know you weren't lying. Sometimes... life is just unfair."
Izuku stared at the floor feeling his mom wipe his tears and kiss his forehead.
"Go wash your hands, I'll make dinner for us."
