7. Dungeon Scuffle

"..." Hephaestus stood silent for a moment. It proved now the Juggernaut matter, her being the victim and the perpetrator behind it.

"...Kyo. Are you an imbecile?!" Hephaestus shouted at her angrily and slapped a paper sheet at her back. "...ughh.. No?"

"I'll take that as a yes then. Akemi, take her deeper. Just watch out for yourselves." She said a bit angrily and quickly before the two could see, she swept Kin-Killer off the sheet.

"WHAT?!" Kyo's shout of surprise as she saw her Stats piqued Akemi's interest a bit. As she walked over silently and peeked. 'What are those... numbers?' She stared at it confused. Some questions were nestled in her mind like, 'How and Why?'

Those question would be asked by anyone if they saw her Stats. She had not yet hit her stat cap, and she was breaking laws by getting and Leveling up her skills without any problems.

"Should we go?" Kyo asked with a small smirk as she gave her status page to Hephy who rolled it and put it under her armpit. "Now, both of you. Shoo to the dungeon."

She started walking away as the two got ready a bit more "And don't summon another fucking Juggernaut!" Hephaestus shouted at Amane who felt cold sweat drip down her back "AYE!" She said and bolted outside.

"Here am I... Working my ass out, and a newbie who's barely adventuring for a bit above week has stats comparable to early level 2." Akemi muttered to herself in what appeared to be bit of anger. Quite a bit.

As the two entered the Dungeon. They felt a strange sweat pour down their necks, and stood silently as Kyo finally broke it "How long does it take for Juggernaut to despawn?" Akemi looked at Kyo, like one would look at an idiot "Whenever the Target dies or exits from the dungeon."

Amane gave her thumbs up and quickly used Perception realm and let it spread through the dungeon to feed her info. 'Hey, it isn't that bad now! Does me rising my stats increase the flow of information I can receive without lagging?'

"Stop grinning. Also, where is your armor or weapons?" Akemi berated at Kyo who looked away sheepishly. While Amane was in casual attire, simple pants and shirt visible.

Akemi had a simple, yet delicately crafted light armor. And a pair of silver-coloured gauntlets on her hands. And a pair of daggers in case of emergency at her belt.

"So? You idiot." Akemi asked again as Amane scratched her head "I use my fists and magic."

'Brute strength, huh? Same as me then.' "What can you and you can't do?"

At her question. Kyo summoned up after short one word a fireball at her hand which was simply following her palm, ready for release. "Well, I either gather ants around 8th floor and other monsters and pull them into a stampede-like fight, and yeet them with one." she pointed at the fireball "Or I keep one head with myself and take monsters in wave-style. As the dungeon spawns less of them if I do it too much, sadly."

'...Now I want magic too.' "Are you blind?" Akemi asked Kyo quite bluntly. "Nope. I'd say I'm better than Supports."

"How many monsters have surrounded us then? We are on 12th floor to remind you."

10th, 11th and 12th were floors mainly compromised of forest areas with a morning mist, as the mist thickened with each floor.

'Bitch.' Kyo smiled at her "Eight, and one more is approaching. But they are only goblins."

"Don't call those bastards only 'goblins' because-" as if on cue. One of the goblins in the trees shoot an arrow in their direction. Akemi heard it thanks to her senses but she knew that the arrow was coming for Kyo. As she was walking target with that fireball in her hand.
