"Oh good, your up!" exclaimed Avery. "You have school today. Your books are in your bag which is on the table. Here we don't have uniforms, so isn't that great." She explained.

"And breakfast is on the table!" Yelled Dean. As was said there was a plate of bacon and egg on the kitchen table. It wasn't a full meal to any ordinary person, it was a serving size.

"Thanks Avery! Thanks Dean!" I yell as I walk over to the bar in the kitchen to eat the greasy bacon. Rory and Lucas were already there in loose sport tops and ripped jeans. I was also wearing a sport top and jeans.

"Isn't that Aunt Chloe's netball top?" asked Lucas.

"Yeah it is. I also have my dads AFL jersey. So what school do you guys go to?"

"We and you, go to Western Fall High." answered Rory.

"Oh yeah! Don't worry cous we won't let anyone hurt you and we'll show you around." States Lucas.

Lucas and Rory were twins, sure they were only eleven but they were at least a few inches taller than me. Yup, I was a shortie in the family or they were just on steroids or they were giants.

"Well that's good you have that attitude because if I find if anything happens to Elisa you two are grounded." stated Dean.

"Dean, don't you thinks that's a little two much don't you think?" I asked worriedly.

"It's different here, Elisa. The town is...dangerous in a way. We just don't want you getting hurt." said Dean.

"But I can take care of myself, Dean. I have been for a while."

"It's not up for discussion, Elisa!" he shouted. two things crossed on his face; realisation and then regret. "Ellie, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to yell."

"It's ok. You were just wanting what's best and sure it's fine. I'm just a bit edgy with all the attention." I whisper.

To be an outcast is one thing. But the centre of attention in a complete new school, is a new matter entirely. Saying my two cousins were protective was a complete understatement.

Rory had his arm slung over my shoulder and Lucas had his skilfully tucked around my waist.

Everyone's eyes were boring into my soul. Girls were glaring at me, shooting daggers. Boys were looking shocked and their eyes snaked up and down my body.

But if they knew my real self they would head towards the hills. The only skin I was showing was my lower arms. They only showed a scar that started on the inside of my left elbow to the back of my hand.

The twins said I looked intimidating with it shown but I think it looks ugly as hell. The two overprotective cousins guided me through the car park to the main office.

Rory opened one of the double set of glass doors, guiding me through. It was only then, did they let their muscular arms hang at their own sides.

"You two are unbelievable. I can take care of myself." giving the best puppy dog eyes that I could muster.

"This town is different, cous. We just don't want you getting hurt again." replied Lucas.

Sitting behind a desk-like counter was a middle aged woman with natural orange hair and bright green eyes.

"Hello dears, what can I help you with?" she asked.

"Yes miss, my cousin needs to collect her schedule. She's new." said Lucas.

"Oh okay. What's your name sweetheart?" she turned towards me.

"Elisa Humming, miss." I answer. She filtered through a file cabinet until holding out a few documents.

"Here is your schedule, a map of the school and your locker number with the code. Hope you enjoy staying at 'Western Fall High'" she smiled and waved at our retreating forms.

We walked through the back door to get into the campus. Yet again, Lucas and Rory clung to me. Holding me close and guiding me through the hallways.

Girls shot daggers at me, whilst boys eye raped me. Instinctively, I hung into Rory's side, hoping that everything would just disappear.

A few twists and turns and we arrived at my locker. The twins let me go to place my books in and getting ready for my first hours.

"Are you okay? you hung on tight when we were walking. We can go home if you want." asked Rory.

"Hmm, yeah I'm fine. Just not used to all the attention. But I can see you two are?" I answer, closing my locker and leaning with my back against it.

"What do you mean, we're used to it?" Wondered Lucas.

"Oh please. Girls were glaring daggers at me. If looks could kill I'd be long dead by now."

"It runs in the family gene." mocked Rory.

"Does being cocky and overprotective run in the family too?" I shot back.

"Oh, ha-ha very funny, Ellie," states Lucas. "Alright so what'd you fave first?"

"Um, Physiology? With Miss Smith." I was beyond confused. Why am I doing Physiology?

"It's compulsive just like English and Math. Something about learning how to control anger and less towards physical violence," explains Rory. "besides that's next to my class, c'mon."

Lucas walked down the other way, opposite direction towards where Rory and I were heading. After a few minutes passed by we stopped outside the door and he grabbed my shoulders and looked directly into my eyes.

"You have my number, text me if anything happens. Whether its in class or not. Plus, after class if I'm not here. just wait for me in the hallway. Alright?" I nodded and he gave me a hug with a kiss on the forehead.

I really had to get used to this. would this have been if my brothers were alive today? Sobs threatened to break free and I had to choke them down. Plus whipping my eyes before stepping into the room.

I was late to class and everyone was inside merely chatting but stopping when I walked in. The teacher - Miss Smith - was a tall, slender woman and looked to be about mid-twenties. With her pure white hair and tree bark brown eyes. She was very pretty.

"Are you lost sweetheart?" she asked.

"Is this Miss Smith's Physiology Class?" I ask, innocently as I could.

"Oh you must be Miss Humming Everyone, this is Elisa Humming. She's new and came from Brisbane. Please take a seat wherever you like." She introduced me into the class.

"Humming? As in like a humming bird? Or as in the action 'to hum'? said a girl in the middle if the class.

"Oh, i know you! You're the girl who had two twelvies hugging to your sides! First impression just got you your first nickname; slut. Welcome to Western High 'Slut'." She mocked and most of the class laughed.

How dare she call me a slut? When she is clearly the barbie doll in the room? She doesn't even know what the hell I have been through? And she most certainly does not know what it's like to be raped constantly?
I thought furiously.

I Step forward to face this bitch.
