I plan the lines, I rehearse the tone,
But when you’re near, I'm suddenly alone—
Lost in a world of “What did I just say?”
A fumble, a stumble, and I’m swept away.
Words spill out in a jumbled mess,
Nothing like the charm I’d planned to impress.
You laugh politely, but I see your eyes,
Half-amused by my failed disguise.
As you walk away, I replay it all—
Each tiny moment, each awkward fall.
And though I’m blushing, red and blue,
I can’t help but hope, you felt it too.
