It was a normal Tuesday morning in the whimsy woods.
Nyx was strolling through the trees, twisting and swerving at every corner when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her chest and let out a cough.
"What's going on?"
She cried out before having another coughing fit.
An excruciating pain shot throughout her entire body and she collapsed, everything went blurry and her vision was clouded with red and black splotches.
After a few minutes of enduring the pain and stumbling her way through the woods, she doubled over once more and let a comforting rest steal her from reality.
In about 5 hours, she woke up in a totally different place, surrounded by trees of purple wisteria and a pond full of Lilly pads and tropical fish.
Nyx looked around in awe but before she could say anything, she noticed something on her arm, a scorching red and black mark with the Japanese symbols 神々の聖域 (meaning Sanctuary of the gods).
With not even a moment to process what was happening, a small child ran to her begging for her to help her.
"Lady! Please help me!"
"There are some monsters chasing me and I can't find my mummy!"
The young girl sobbed.
Nyx was taken back by the sudden statement and rose to her feet, feeling a wave of power surge through her veins.
