Chapter 18: Hello I am Tree Paine

So clearly my teammates were truly motivated about finding out. We ended up winning 4-1 against Brazil, which even though it was a friendly match all of us were still so pumped.

"So will you tell us?" Rapinoe asks as she hands me the paper back as

"How about I show you instead?" I state as most of my teammates brows furrow together.

I make my way out of the locker room, Taylor is standing there with one of my jerseys on, one of the hats she has stolen from pulled low. Her security team standing around her as her eyes finally catches mine.

"Ready for this?" I ask as I hold out my hand, a smile coming across her face as she takes my hand.

Taylor's Pov

My heart raced as she led us into the locker room, my wife was still sweaty... she had briefly told me what I had happen.

"Wait is this who you were hiding?" A blonde asked as we entered the room, my eyes hidden behind the lowered cap.

"Guys this is Taylor." My wife says as she gently lifts her cap so that I can now catch everyone's eyes.

"Yeah Swift I think we all know who Taylor Swift is, we've seen you with her." Someone stated as my eyes scanned the room, finally catching Alex's eyes, this is the first time we've actually seen each other in person.

"Yes, we went to school together... but she is also my wife." Lupe stated as mouths dropped.

"So this is why you were coming out partying with us." A short blonde hair girl said as she made her way over towards Lupe.

Lupe had completely made sure that it was only the team in the locker room.

"Well that and technically I was only 18 Pinoe." Lupe stated as she crossed her arms.

Lupe's Pov

"It makes so much sense though." Carli finally stated as everyone turned towards her, "Come on think about it, those two are always together. We've all seen the award shows, though I am surprised that Morgan doesn't seem surprised."

"Hey don't bring me into this." Alex states waving her hands before moving to go change.

"That whole thing was an accidental finding out though." Taylor states, "It was our usual calls that she walked in on."

"And no Pinoe it wasn't anything bad, she was helping me with my project... which in turn has been great marketing for her team." I state before she even has a chance to say anything.

"Well now it seriously does make even more sense to call you Ms... I mean Mrs. Swift... you did take her name right?" Kelly asked turning to look at me.

"Yes, we just didn't do all of the name changes, even though if you look at my socials it's a nod to my girl. And we've been married for five years since August." I state as I turn my head towards Taylor before looking at everyone else "And we would seriously appreciate it if y'all would please keep this a secret."

"It would very much be appreciated, I just wanted my wife here to be able to be honest with y'all. I know she has to keep so much a secret from everyone." Taylor says as everyone starts stating "we won't tell anyone."
