I was honestly just happy that she would be joining me, I know my label didn't necessarily like the idea... they were always afraid of the fact that there would be a chance we'd be found out.
Though even with Tree not directly working with me just yet, we had come up with the starting of a girl squad. Which my wife had already volunteered to be the first to join as long as she was free from her job. I mean it made it easier for us to be seen together and maybe people would start picking up on us.
"Babe your suit looks great quit messing with it." I told her as she fiddle with the buttons, my mom laughing at her before going to help her out.

By the time we made it inside, I was sitting next to Faith and Tim. My mom sitting on the other side of me while Lupe now sat on the other side of her.
Lupe's Pov
Watching my wife win the Pinnacle Award I was honestly trying not to cry, I was honestly so proud of her. The other artists that let her open up when she first was starting standing behind her was amazing.
A few days later
I knew what was coming next after we had finished with the CMAs, I had a game back up in New York. Taylor was able to come up and spend some time with me, she was already considering moving up here with me.
Though I don't necessarily know how her label was going to take it, it was going to help with the story they were now spinning with Karlie.
Although between us, I didn't necessarily like the way she acted with Taylor, but I knew it was going to happen.
I knew the plan that was currently in action at this point, they were going to set up sort of a girl squad. Hopefully squashing down those articles of late about my wife.
"Hey are you ok?" Alex asked as I looked over at her, I had definitely been way to deep in thought.
"Yeah just a lot on my mind." I stated as I watch Pinoe make their way over.
"I mean it does seem like you are up to a lot." She states as her statement catches everyone's attention. "I mean we do see you attending awards, I mean I get it if you are invited it's a must go as long as it doesn't affect your performance."
"There is honestly more to it then just going." I finally get out.
"Want to tell us what that is exactly?" Abby asks as she finally catches on to the conversation.
"How about this... we win tonight and y'all will find out after." I state as everyone looks at each other before an agreement is made, "And since y'all agree... then you won't mind signing a NDA."
