It All Started With A Text Message

Chapter Four

"Damn," Michael said, and Ashton flipped him off and walked out for some fresh air just leaving me with Michael. "Well, I'm just gonna leave.."
I said as I got up, "don't leave me with these assholes..." Michael pleaded and being me I gave in, so I played FIFA with him while everyone else had drama going on.

Calum's P.O.V
I went upstairs to find Karla in her room strumming her bass, working on the song for Michael... "hey there" I said as I walked into her room and plopped down on her bed. "How's the song going?" I asked her. She just shrugged and kept on playing, "Why does he have to bring someone here? He hardly knows her, why can't she just stay with one of you guys?" She rambled on, I shrugged.

"Maybe she's not like you think she is Karla..." I grabbed her notepad with the lyrics to the song and started tweaking it a little bit and tuning the chords to the song to make it work. "I'm just wondering why bring someone that he only knows for a week and a half and asks her out then have her move in?" She said and set the bass down and got up.

I set her notepad down and got up, "I'm sure it'll be okay Karla you just gotta give her a chance." I walked over to her and her eyes met mine, our lips were inches apart... Then we kissed. I just kissed my best friends sister..fuck this can't happen, Ashton would kill me.

"W-what was that?" She asked totally confused as I did, "l-lets just pretend that didn't happen." She said and I nodded, "wanna go hang out?" I asked. "Aren't you gonna hang out with your sister Gwen later today?" I shook my head no at her question, "she has band practice..like always, never makes anytime for her big brother so that's why I'm always over here.." I said.

"Oh..that sucks Cal." She said and I just shrugged, "we could go get something to eat and hang out at the park like old times?" I nodded yes and we started walking downstairs. "Tell Ashton I and Karla went to go get something to eat." I told Luke and he nodded and kept looking at the screen, "Damn you, Michael!" He said and Michael chuckled.

"let's leave, I can feel my IQ dropping..." She laughed and nodded then we walked out.

Katelyn's P.O.V
I was laying on my bed, trying to decide whether to text my friend Michael or to go downstairs and be social with family... So I decided to text Michael,

Me- hey idiot you busy?
Mikey- No, playing FIFA with Luke at Ashton's you can come over if you want.
Me- is there food?
Mikey- yes Kat there's food
Me- I'll be over in five😂
Mikey- see you soon😏👌🏼

I got up and changed into my clothes, I walked over to my closet and chose my green day T, black skinny jeans, and slipped on my galaxy converse. I headed downstairs and grabbed an energy drink and headed to Ashton's.

As I got there I knocked a couple times and was greeted by Luke, "oh hey Kate... mikes in the kitchen." I gave him a nod walked inside, "where's the food that I was promised." I said and walked into the kitchen, "Hey there...there's food just grab whatever." Michael said and I grabbed a bag of chips and opened it and started eating them.

I stayed over there for a few hours before going back home.

Ashton's P.O.V
I got in my car and headed over to Talias to pick up Emma so we could start packing. It's just something about her.

I got there and parked in the driveway, I got out of my car, locked it and walked up to the door. I knocked a couple times and then the door opened, "H-h-hello.." I think it was Milli, she had blondish hair.. "hey. Is uh, Emma still here?" I asked. "Yeah, you can come in by the way. hold on."

She went away from the door and I walked inside, I waited for about 5 minutes before Emma walked down the stairs. She looked beautiful..

"H-hey.." She said, "Good afternoon beautiful.." She blushed. "Ready to go?" I asked her and she nodded. I took her by the hand and she said bye to her friends and walked out with me. I led her to the car and opened her side for her and she thanked me and got inside. I walked around and got in and started the car and headed to her house.

*SKIP CAR RIDE*

We got to her house and we both got out of the car and walked up to the door, and she slowly opened the door and walked inside the house and said: "Thank god no one's home.." And jogged upstairs and I followed behind her, we went into her room and started packing.

*SKIP PACKING TIME*

I helped her carry the bags to my car and then finished and closed the trunk to the car and opened her door and let her in the closed it and walked around and got inside and started the car and drove back to my house.

*BACK TO HOUSE*
I carried her bags upstairs while she went into the living room to watch Michael and Luke play FIFA, then I finished with her bags and joined them. Emma got to meet Michael's best friend Katelyn. After a few hours past, Katelyn went home soon after Luke did the same.

Michael stayed because I let him stay at my house with me and Karla. Around 10:30 is when Karla and Calum got back, soon after that everyone that was still here was getting kinda tired so Emma went up to the room that she's staying in and asked me to come with her so I followed her up to the room and she flopped down on the bed and patted the spot next to her. I laid down beside her.

"Thank you.." She said, "for what?" I asked. "for being my hero, even though I haven't known you for that long time. You still cared even though you were an absolute stranger at the time.." she said, "I'll always care Emma." "Cuddle?" She asked and I nodded and laid farther back on the bed and she snuggled up against me.

Sorry that I haven't updated in a couple days, went through a few things... Personal problems. But hopefully, I'll update a little quicker kinda got  writer's block for a couple days and didn't know what to put next so I hope you enjoyed this chapter sorry for any errors. I was typing this on my phone then my phone died so I had to type what I lost back.
