I've noticed the movie Coco has been becoming popular lately for some reason. (And it's not because it's fall)

But I have a plot hole.

If someone in the living world needed to remember Hector, in order for him not to be forgotten. . .why did Miguel have to make Mama Coco remember him if Miguel was back in the real world?

You might say maybe they needed someone who actually has memories of him in the real world but then why is Hector not forgotten at the end of the movie?

Sorry, I had this in my head for years.
