The Park Is Open (Zach Mitchell x Reader)

Part 4

The control center watched as the other pterodactyls and dimorphodon got an idea, they started to fly out of the broken part of the glass as the Indominus ran from where she had broke thru. They started to fly where all the commotion came from, they were flying towards the park. Lowery shouted, "They are heading for the park!"

You almost couldn't control your laughter as Gray told an embarrassing story about Zach. "Okay, so we were camping and of course they tell us, don't stray from the path or you could get caught up in trap." You smiled as Gray kept on, "So Zach, he decided to wander and we found him stuck in a net at like 4am."

"How'd you get his dumbass down?" You asked, Zach looked at you, and gasped, "I'm offended." You looked surprised at his reaction, "Offended? They tell you one thing, and you were like nah, let's go get my ass stuck in a bear trap." Gray chuckled, "But, then we had to have the fire department come and cut him down, it was pretty funny."

The jeep kept down the dusty road, Zach kept trying to look at you in the rearview mirror, you were currently toying with your hair. A large gate was in front of you, Zach started to slow the car down, but you shook your head, "No, no, don't stop."

Zach, still wasn't going to speed up anytime soon, so you climbed over the seat and sat in his lap. You placed your hand on the stick, and pressed down roughly on the gas pedal, the car going as fast as she could. You then broke through the gate, looking at Zach with a proud smile, he had a red blush on his cheeks, you got out of his lap and tripped your way into the back.

All of you were smiling, Zach had kept on the gas, "Okay, that's it, we're safe now." You buckled back up in your seat and looked at Gray, he was turned around, looking to the sky. You then saw them, the large winged dinosaurs soaring through the air, some bigger than others, "oh my god."

Gray slammed his hands on the dash of the car, "GO! GO! GO!" Zach moved the mirror, finally seeing the giant prehistoric mosquitoes headed your way. "Zach, GO!"

He put his foot on the stick and changed it to fourth gear, once he did, he slammed his foot on the gas pedal and started to speed up. Once you got out of the thick foliage, you saw the large west gates of the park. You stood up, having a hand on the top of the vehicle, the other one waving in the air, "Help! Help us!"

Zach put his hand on the horn, honking it as much as possible, all 3 of you were hanging out of the car. "OPEN THE GATES." The two guards with guns looked up at the loud screeching, then then realized what was coming their way. They opened the gates quickly, and let you pull the car in, once it was parked, you hopped out quickly. "Where is my dad?"

The guard shook his head, "We don't know." You shook your head, and then felt a hand in yours, you looked down at it, then up at the person. Zach's large hand sat in yours, he was almost trying to reassure you. "Let's go."

You nodded and started to run, but then stopped when you heard a female voice over the loudspeaker. "Ladies and Gentlemen due to a containment anomaly, we ask that all guests take shelter immediately."

That same sentence just kept repeating, a loud siren came over the speaker next. You heard terrified screams as you rounded the corner, people were running away from the innovation center, chaos was being let loose as people ran over each other. They were pushing and tripping people, just to save their own skin. You then realized why, the carnivorous birds were diving into the sea of sweat, trying to claim their victim.

Screams of terror came from the people, agony set over the crowd like blood in an open wound. Your heart then broke as you saw a woman stepping in front of a dimorphodon for her baby. Others walked away from the situation, not caring to help the child.

You shook your head, and started to run through the crowd, getting hit once or twice, but still trying to reach the crying baby boy. "Y/N!" You were about a foot away from him, when you saw a large pterodactyl coming down towards him. "No. No. No."

The bird was so close, but you jumped in front of the boy, bringing him into your arms, closing your eyes as you waited for the pterodactyl to hit you. After a minute, you opened your eyes, the pterodactyl was dead at your side, you were confused, but saw a member of ACU. "He doesn't have a parent."

The boy looked up at you, tears in his eyes, "His mother is dead." The member of ACU nodded and took the little boy's hand, and started to walk away. You looked around, Zach and Gray were trying to make their way towards you. The mosquitoes, as you called them, kept crashing into the ground, taking out the people. They were breaking the buildings, the windows, biting into people, trying to tear apart their flesh.

When the boys reached you, a large glass window above you broke, the glass falling down and hitting you all like bricks, you let out a little wince as the shards hit. But looked up and saw Zach, and somehow the pain vanished, out of the corner of your eye, you saw a dimorphodon making its way towards you. It's jaws wide open, he looked like he was aiming for Gray, you acted quickly, you then found a silver platter on one of the tables, you picked it up and looked back.

You swung it towards the dinosaur, you heard it hit, your arms shaking, you opened your eyes and saw the beast laying on the floor. You smiled and set down the platter, you almost danced over the animal. "Don't mess with my boyfriend's brother mother fucker!"

Once you realized what you had said, you shut your mouth quickly and put your hand to your forehead. "Shit.." Zach looked over at you, walking around to look you in the face, "Boyfriend, huh?"

A warm blush came to your face as you looked down at your shoes, "I could kiss you right now"

Zach grabbed your waist, pulling you into his chest, you put your hand on the back of his head, his dark eyes looking into yours, a smile on your face. You blushed as you felt an electric twinge in your hands, it traveled through your whole body, almost like a satisfying shiver. You moved your hand over to his cheek, moving his head to the side, you let your lips touch his cheek slightly, then started to whisper in his ear, "Not now."

He sighed, and turned his head back, looking you in the eyes again, his deep eyes almost dragging you into him. "Tease." You laughed, and felt the butterflies exploding in your stomach, you winked at him, and bit the bottom of your lip. "Don't you forget it."
