"...you feel me mandem?" Jay asked over FaceTime. "Mhmmm" The Sevens nodded in agreement. "Oi Jay come down here now!"a stern voice shouted from downstairs "later,mum's calling" they bid Jay farewell.
Jay stood up from his bed and headed downstairs, he groaned inwardly seeing everyone at the dinner table for what looks like a meeting?He HATED these meetings.

Mum: Take a seat,were having a family meeting.

Jay sat beside his twin Jasmin who was opposite their little sister Tricia.

Dad: Me and your mother decided it's time we relocate to another country.
Everyone was silent they knew this was their mom's idea,their dad just plays along. Someone finally spoke up
Jay: A'ight soooo how long are you gonna be away?
Dad cleared his throat
Dad: "We" as in all of us.
"WHAT!" Jay,Jas and Tri exclaimed in unison
Mom:Calm do-
Jas: No,no,no,noooo,mum.We can't calm down,how do you expect us to calm dow-
Jasmin's rambling was cut off by Tricia's hyperventilation
Tri: Why...do..we...have to...go..with!?
She asked in between breaths
Mom:Breath baby,ok?
Tri got her breathing in check,she opened her mouth to talk but was cut off by Jay.
Jay: Ma, lemme get this straight were moving...
Mom: Yes.
Jay: When?
The parents eyed each other and chuckled nervously.
Dad:Tomorrow.
He muttered under his breath but it was loud enough for everyone to hear.
Jas broke into fits of laughter,Jay joined in aswell.
Jas: You're kidding right?
Jay: You lot are funny.
Mom: Actually were serious, we leave in 7 hours,so rest,pack up and be down here at...
She took a look at her wristwatch
Mom: 4am, be ready at 4.
She said sternly.
Dad: You heard your mother, go rest, see you guys back here in 7 hours
Jay scoffed and walked up to his room.
He slammed the door shut in frustration.He was too mad to talk to anyone so he just took off his trainers and got into bed,he set his alarm for 3:30am and fell into a deep slumber.

6 hours later...

Jay's POV

*Alarm rings*
the alarm read: 3:30am

Me:shii

I was too annoyed,how do we just get up and flee the country,tf? smh.

I went to take a shower, brushed my teeth and wet my fro a little with water. I went to my closet and took out a few clothes for the 'trip' or whatever and picked out black Nike sweats with my matching shirt and white A1's. I packed up my clothes in one suitcase with a few trainers and my toiletries in another bag,nothing too much I don't plan on staying away for too long anyways.

I ringed Spitz,he picked up on the third ring.

PHONE CALL

Spitz: yoo wagwan fam,so early in da morning, you good?

He answered in a raspy voice.

Me: yeah just rents goin wild, yo check I'm not finna be in town for a while so handle things while I'm gone for a while, yeah?

Spitz: a'ight fam it's all good, can I sleep now?

Me: yea I'll chat in the group broski

Spitz: say hi to Jas for me there, yeah?

Before I could even respond, he hung up. Spitz or rather Samuel, has been my best friend for as long as i can remember,we do everything together,Spitz has a little crush on my twin sis Jasmin,well maybe not a little and it's been going on forever honestly.

I took a look at myself and assessed the fit from head to toe. I looked decent ig.

Me:mad at my parents but they did well here.
I gassed myself up and chuckled lowly to myself.

I grabbed my phone and charger,suitcase,Air pods and my toiletry bag with my stash inside.I left my gun on purpose, would I need it? No.
I walked out of my room and locked it.

Walking downstairs I see Tri sitting on of of the island chairs eating cereal. I walk towards the kitchen.

Tri:Big man
She greeted,I chuckled at her greeting and greeted back.

Me: you good princess?
Tri: yeah I just don't wanna leave, where we even going?
I shrugged. Where are we really relocating to?
Jas: yoo my people

We fist bumped with her and she sat on another island chair. Tri stared between both me and Jas.

Me: what?
Tri: you guys look so much like Ty
Me: Don't!
Jas: and you look like him aswell
Me: don't talk about Tyrese in front of me!

Tyrese is our infamous older brother who did stuff that landed him in a bad place.

Tri: geez sorry big man.
With that she walked off.
Jas: you need to calm down.
She whisper-yelled at me.

Mum and Dad walked down the stairs with their belongings, Dad grabbed the car keys,took some of our bags and went outside to pack, I followed right behind him.

Me: hey pops, you good?
I had to ask guys,he looked a little uneasy.

Dad: I'm okay Jay,you?
Me: I'm good...sooooo...where we going?
I trailed off dragging my words.
Dad: *clears throat* you'll see.
Me: oh-kay.
This was awkward.I walked back to the house to get more bags.
Once they were all in the car, we'll gathered up in the lounge.

Mom: everyone ready?
A few 'yeah's' went around, I just nodded.
Mom: ok let's pray.
Mom is a God-fearing woman,she said a short prayer for safety and we locked the house and walked to the car in the driveway.Dad took the driver's seat,mom the passenger seat and the reat of us just sat randomly. I took out my phone, the time read 4:15am.I opened the group chat.

I chuckled at their foolishness,connected my phone to my Airpods and played UK Rap by Central Cee and Dave. I rested my head on the headrest,careful not to mush my taper and closed my eyes.

This is gonna be one long trip.
