The bus doors opened, and I ran out.

(Yes, it was my bus stop.)

I walked slowly to my car.

My mom waited inside.

"Hola, mi niña! Que paso?"
she said.

("Hey, my dear. What's wrong?")

I quietly showed her the wad.

She got angry.

She made me explain, and we began the hunt.

"Donde vive!? Dime ahora!"

("Where does she live?! Tell me now!")

Yeah, don't ever mess with my mom!
😁

After a few cries for her to stop the search, she calmed down.

We drove back home.

When my dad got back home, she told him, and the next day after school, there was a movie night, the perfect time to speak with the principal.

That night, they spoke with her.

These next words will always be recorded in my brain.

"Do not worry Mr. and Mrs. Martinez.
We will do something about this.
This will not go without a consequence."

What do you guys think?

Those words made me feel relieved.

Did they change anything?

The next week, at lunch, BULLY 1 came in to her office with her lunch, like me.

The principal spoke with us, and BULLY 1 had to stay.

BULLY 1 never bothered me again.

Don't begin to take a sigh of relief, it's not the end of my story.

In the summer, I went to English summer classes, which improved my English.

Now, entering 1st grade, I spoke proper English.

My 1st grade teacher was so nice, and that same year, I was chosen along 2 other 1st graders to be passed on to 2nd grade.

This was at the beginning of 1st grade.

I had hundreds of friends from the kindergarten, so I begged my parents to let me stay in 1st grade.

They accepted my choice.

BFF 2 was in another class, and she was all like, "I wish you had moved on to 2nd grade, since I can't be your friend now. I'm so popular now."

(Yeah, 1st graders starting with the popularity!)

I took those news to my ❤️, but with BFF 1, 3, and 4, I got back up, shaking off the dirt.

I began taking after school English classes, and I took the late bus.

Guess who I found?

BULLY 1.

Now, in the middle of the year, BULLY 1 found out I was there.

When we were in line for the bus, she would push and pull my backpack, making me wobble everywhere.

Around that time, my mom lost a baby.

Getting bullied+baby=perfect mix for a heartbreak.

One specific day, when I got out of afterschool, I looked for my parents, since the office ladies told me my parents were here to pick me up.

BULLY 1 walked and began her routine.

Push and pull.

Then, she ran and got on the bus.

The principal's words ran through my head.

"Do not worry Mr. and Mrs. Martinez.
We will do something about this.
This will not go without a consequence."

For some reason, I turned around and saw my parents.

My dad had an angry face on, my mom looked worried.

My dad got hold of my hand, and we walked to the bus.

"Is that the bully?" he asked, pointing at BULLY 1.

I nodded.

He picked me ip, and we got on the stairs on the bus.

He looked straight at BULLY 1, and put me down next to where he was standing.

"In what grade are you? 4th, right?"

He glared at her a way that scares me when I remember.

Everyone went quiet, watching us.

"I swear...if you touch, speak, laugh at, or JUST PLAINLY LOOK AT MY DAUGHTER, I'M CALLING THE POLICE AND SUEING YOU, YOUNG LADY! I HOPE YOU UNDERSTOOD."

BULLY 1 looked like she pooped her pants.

"S-s-s-s-sorry-y-y." she whispered.

I glanced at the bus driver, since BULLY 1 was sitting right behind him.

Bus driver's eyes were wide open in fright.

My mom didn't ask anything, and we got in the car and drove home.

2 days later, BULLY 1 was gone, and she never came back.

I enjoyed the rest of 1st grade.

Unfortunately, at the end of the year, my parents announced that I was moving to another school.

I was angry, calling it stupid.

2nd grade started out okay, meeting 3 kids from my old school.

2nd-6th grade were okay.

Except that my new BFF 2 was dating and literally making out with whoever BFF 1 or I liked.💔💋

BFF 2 promised to stop dating just for us.

6th grade was a roller coaster.👀

Stay tuned for part 2!
