Fifteen minutes away.

Her location was fifteen minutes away. With ragged breaths and shaking eyes, you spotted a woman coming out of a taxi and dashed towards it, getting into the passenger seat before the woman had even taken two steps away from the car.

"Hey-"

"Kisaragi street, now!. As fast as you can, I'll pay you extra for speeding". The driver looked perplexed at your agitated state but complied, nonetheless.

As he drove, you made many attempts at calling Sachi's phone but she didn't pick up. Once he got to the destination, you threw his cash at him, flew out of the car and darted down the dark alley.

You rushed into this without thinking properly. You're aware of this fact. So you send your location to Kaiser just in case anything goes wrong. At the very least, you can protect Sachi until he arrives.

You stopped and leaned against the wall when you heard the sound of struggling and slurred speech close by.
"Y-you... I gave you every... everything. *hiccup*. Yet you still... abandoned me. *hiccup* . There's... another guy right? Tell me!".
You didn't hear a response from Sachi and that frightened you.

Quickly, your eyes darted around for any form of weapon you could use against him, but all you could find were small rocks scattered in a corner. With no other option, you scooped all of them into your hands, the rough edges digging into your palm.

With a surge of adrenaline, you hurled the first rock at the back of his head, eliciting a groan from him. "Hey!", when he turned around to meet your gaze, your eyes widened slightly. It was the guy who was bothering Sachi the same day you met Kaiser.

Regaining your composure, you hurled another rock at his stomach this time, making him let out a string of curses at you.

Off to the side, you saw Sachi pressed up against the wall looking mortified. You can't even begin to imagine how it must have felt being defenceless without knowing if anyone was going to come help you. You wonder if that was how she also felt that day... Alone and terrified.

"Sachi! Get up! Run, now!", she flinched when she heard your voice, seemingly just noticing that you were here. She scrambled to get up from the floor, legs trembling as she leaned on the wall for support.

"Don't you dare try to take Sachi away from me!", before you could even register what was happening, he was already in front of you. He swung his fist, fast and brutally colliding with your face. Your head snapped to the side, the taste of blood filling your mouth as the world around you blurred.

You felt yourself stagger back, suddenly crumpling against the ground, barely even catching yourself. Your ears rang at the distant sound of Sachi's high pitched scream.

Your vision was getting more and more distorted by the second as you watched the guy stalk over to Sachi, who staggered backwards until her back was pinned against the wall.

'Is this it?', you weakly extended an arm out in front of you, as if it could do anything anyway.

'I'm sorry... Mafuyu'

Just as you were about to pass out, a disturbing image flashed through your mind and your eyes were open once again. With a ragged breath, you forced yourself to move as you spotted a broken stick lying a few feet away.

With shaky hands, you reached for it, fingers wrapping around the rough wood. Your face ached with every movement you made, but her voice in your head was loud enough to drown out whatever pain you felt.

You pulled yourself up and with every ounce of strength you could summon, you swung the stick at his head. It connected with a sickening thunder and what followed was the sound of him collapsing on the floor.
