Acting on Affection

Chapter 1

It was the last day of shooting for a movie I was in (Trap), it was a bitter sweet moment. After we all wrapped, we had a small party on set.

I'm going to miss all of my coworkers and I hope to someday work with all of them again in the future.

While still enjoying the party I get a call from my agent, Ben. "Hey Ashley! Ready to start auditioning? What are we thinking? Another movie or would you want to try for a series?"

I laugh at his eagerness and wasting no time to try to get me my next job. Ben and I have been best friends since high school and we've never lost touch I really do love him, he's such a golden retriever at times.

"I'm okay with anything!" I replied, a little nervous about auditioning again. Lord knows it's hard for an upcoming actress to try to book their next roll.

"You got it! I have a lot of options for you, I have a casting call for a resident on Grey's Anatomy, a firefighter on Station 19, a rookie on The Rookie, a tribute for the new hunger games movie, a roll in Mamma Mia 3, and also—"

"AHHH ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME? YOU BETTER NOT BE FUCKING WITH ME OR I'M FIRING YOU, I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND!" I screamed with excitement but still also vigilant that this all might just be a cruel...cruel prank. These are all of my favorites and each would be an absolute DREAM to be in.

"Ashleyyy stop! I'm not messing with you I really can get you auditions for them. I am just THAT good of an agent" he said with smugness

I chuckled at the way he responded and thanked him for getting me the auditions. I'm definitely going to try for every single one. We ended the call and I was in absolute awe about the idea of me possibly being in one of my favorite movies or tv shows.

After the party I got in my car and headed home for the night.
