Good Morning October! We're so glad to have you here! To celebrate your holiday of sweetened candy and fear.
To celebrate your falling leaves and the colors that they change. Giving up our mortal souls for this once a year exchange.
For your celebration we have waited, burning days too long. Days and nights of Suns and moons to sing your ghoulish songs.
Now the children gather their candy bags, their costumes and makeup alike. While the elder souls gather bubbling drinks to dance away the night.
On this day we frolick amongst your leaves. Your crisp cold air, and howling wind, by joy we finally breathe.
For the days before you were cruel, the heat of hells dismay, Burned our skin and caused much sin, as the blind threw their morals away.
But now, your cold touch drives them astray. Their shouting voices fading out as shivers take them away.
We rejoice in your peace, in the joy you finally bring. For now the opened eyed are finally free to sing.
And we will sing, we will decorate our homes, with frightening skulls and eyes not dull, no room for Jolly knomes.
We will decorate our bodies in tapestry of all kinds, symbolising the things we like as we enjoy this frightful time.
We will pass candy to the young, some of us though old will be on the other end, going door to door from two to four to enjoy those treats in bold.
And when all is over , our hearts will weigh us down. For we will miss your cold embrace and your horrifying sound. Though we will wait once more, with smiling faces in the wind
Good morning October, we are so blessed to see you again.
