Chapter 1

Sage's POV

"Bro, I swear that had to be the weirdest thing I've seen all year" I heard Zoe say as her and Drew were filling us in on this guy they had saw earlier.

"Like he was literally talking to the air...like full on conversation with the air! who the fuck gets so lonely to the point where they start talking to the AIR?!" Drew exclaimed

"Guys did you ever stop to think that maybe he has like a problem?" I asked, laughing at their foolishness "Yeah maybe he has like a mental illness, or he's schizophrenic or some shit" my lifelong friend, Billie agreed laughing as well.

Billie and I have been friends since we were babies because of our parents, ever since then we've basically been attached by the hip. We do Everything together, She's basically my other half. We even signed up for dance and choir together when we were like six and seven. Although the choir didn't really go well for me, Because I lost my voice at one point, and I had to drop out. But I still had dance, so it wasn't all too bad, Billie was in dance too, but she got injured and hasn't danced since. Which I keep telling her is a sign to put her singing voice to use because she can sing really good. Me and her brother Finneas have told her to post her music, but she thinks there's no use.

"Anyways, we should really get going, my mom wants me home before dinner" Zoe said, getting off of her boyfriend, Brians lap. "I agree," said Drew "Me and Chance have a date tonight" she said happily before she left.

"Hey once Zack gets out the bathroom will you tell him I said ill text him later, that phone calls taking way to long, his mom must really be getting on his ass about something" Brian said referring to my boyfriend Zackery, who had stepped into the bathroom to take a phone call from what he said was his mother. "Yeah, no problem" I said. "Okay thank you, love you byeee" Zoe said pulling Brians arm out of the apartment leaving me and Bil alone.

"Billllll, I feel like I never get to see my best friend anymore" I say, getting out of my spot on the bed and walking over to straddle her lap. I am a very affectionate person, so this stuffs normal with me.

"I know, you've been all over lover boy lately" bil said rolling her eyes. "Hey, don't be like that, you know my loves, all yours" I said prepping kisses all over her face. "Okay, okay, I believe you, I believe you" she said laughing. It was a cute moment till Zack walked back in.

"What are you guys doing" he asked closing the bathroom door. "Nothing I just feel like I don't get to see my bestie anymore" I say, hugging bil, "Didn't you just come over here like yesterday" he said. "I mean...Yeah, but that's beside the point, anyways what did your mom say?" I asked

"My mom? I wasn't on the- Oh yeah, um it was nothing she was just telling me that, her and my dad are going on a business trip, and to not trash the house" he said nervously for some reason, but I chose to ignore it.

"Oh well ok" I said. After a few minutes of all three of us conversing about nothing, we decided to watch a movie in the living room. "Ima pick the movie if that's fine with y'all" Billie said picking up the tv remote. "Yeah, that's fine" me and Zack agreed. Since Zack went to go grab some snacks for the movie, Me and Billie decided to cuddle with each other like we usually do. Bil laid down first, and I laid down second, putting my head on her chest. Shortly after searching for a movie, Zack came back.

"Did you find a movie yet?" he asked "Yep, have y'all ever watched The Babadook?" she asked. "Nope, sounds scary" he said laying down on the other side of the couch. The couch is shaped like and L, so me and bil are on the smaller part while Zack's laying on the other. "Oh, it is trust me, but it's also really fucking good so were going to watch it". I looked up at her in disbelief.

"You know I don't like horror movies" I say getting closer to her. "I know, I know but you'll have to face your fears someday" She replied with a smirk. "Fuck off" I say back, playfully pushing her shoulder.

As time progresses, and the movie intensifies, I can already feel my heart racing. Under the blanket me and Billie are sharing I feel her hand intertwine with mine, and almost instantly my heart goes back to a steady pace. God, I love her. I look over at Zack to see him already looking at us with a small smirk on his face. "What?" me and Billie say in unison. "Nothing, just, have you ever tried a threesome?" he asked still smirking.

"Zackary!" I yell, throwing a pillow at him. He makes me so mad asking that question. I could literally be sitting beside bil and he'll be like "Have y'all ever fucked" or "have y'all ever tried a threesome". I honestly have no clue what his fascination with threesomes or sex in general is, but he needs to get over himself because I will not be having sex with my best friend.

"No Zack, I never have, and never will" I slightly shout back. "I'm sorry but I honestly think it would be so hot to have, two girls fighting over my dick" he says in defense. "You know what, I think it's time we go" I say now Frustrated, getting off of Billie. "Alright Man whatever" Zack says getting his stuff together

"Hey, I'm so sorry about this, Bil, I know how You are about your body and stuff, I don't know what's gotten into him lately I-just, I'm sorry okay" I say apologizing for him and giving her a hug

"Seriously, Sage, you're ok I understand, just text me when you can ok, or come over, you basically live right beside me" she chuckles

"Alright I will, Zackary lets go" I say walking to the door, He follows me walking outside, yelling at each other on the way. "Look, this isn't gonna work if you keep implying on that I fuck my best friend" I say calmly

"Ok, Ok, look I promise too never, ever say it again ok"

I give it a thought, if he says he won't then he won't.

"Fine" I give in

"Ok, thank you, love you, bye" he says kissing my cheek and walking off to his car.

"Bye" I respond back with a sigh. Why did I choose to date him of all people? I question myself
