The dim lighting of the bar softened the edges of reality, making everything feel a little warmer, a little easier. Jazz tunes hummed in the background, and the low murmur of conversations filled the space.
Claire leaned against the counter, her fingers tracing the rim of her whiskey glass. It was her escape—a place to unwind after a long week. She wasn't looking for anything, or anyone, really. Just a quiet night, a drink, and maybe a moment to breathe.
Andami ko nang nainom. Pero tila hindi pa ako tinatablan ng alak. May pagkatipsy lang pero tolerable pa naman. I finished the rest of the whiskey in my glass and asked the bartender to give me one more glass.
As I was waiting, I looked at the dance floor and as I roam my eyes, someone caught my attention. A tall, good looking girl with a mix of blond and black hair color that gave her more look overpowering and attractive.
"Here's your whiskey, madam." The barista said kaya humarap ulit ako sa bar counter to drink. I slowly drink the whiskey, savoring its bitter-sweet and tangy taste as the liquor glides down on my throat.
"Ang pait pero ang sarap mo." I blurted out nowhere at tumawa ako konti. Tumatama na din yung whiskey sa aking katawan. As soon as I finished again my whiskey, I ordered one more and promised myself that this would be my last for tonight. Minutes had passed, The barista served my drink. Kukunin ko na sana ito pero may kamay na kumuha sa drink na nakalapag sa harap ko.
"Hey that's mine." Tumingin ako sa likuran and I was starstrucked with her beauty. She's a girl but you can definitely tell that she's not straight.
Tall, with a confident swagger, she had an effortless charm that turned heads without even trying. Her long, blond and black hair framed her face in a way that made her hazel eyes stand out, gleaming in the low light.

"Rough night?" She asked, her voice low and smooth, carrying an easy confidence.
I shrugged, my heart beating a little faster. "Long week. You?"
She laughed softly, a sound that sent a shiver down my spine.

Umupo siya sa tabi ko at inubos niya ang laman ng kanyang baso. As she do that, nakatitig lang ako sa kaniya hanggang sa nakatitigan ko ang kanyang paglunok sa alak.

Tumingin ulit ako sa bartender and signaled him to give me one more whiskey.
"Your name?" biglang sabi nitong katabi ko.
"Name's Claire. You?"
"Bada." sabi niya
Her name suits her very well. Very unique.
The conversation flowed easily after that, the drinks loosening the edges of formality. We talked about nothing and everything at once. She told me that she wasn't from the city but had come for a change of pace, and I found myself revealing how I had felt stuck in the grind, like the city had lost its magic.
As the night deepened, so did the glances, the lingering touches. It wasn't spoken aloud, but we both knew where this was heading.

Hindi ako ganito pag nakainom. I feel like my body needed her touches, her kisses, even though we just met. I needed to get out of here. This isn't gonna be good. Tumayo na ako and paid my tab sa counter.
"I'm going now Bada. See you around and nice meeting you" I smiled and was about to walk away but she held my name and stopped me from leaving. Tinignan ko ang kamay niyang nakahawak sa akin. I felt electrocuted. Damn. What are you doing to me.
"You're going already? Do you wanna hang out on my place?" she asked with her seductive low voice, seductive smile and lustful eyes.

Tumayo na siya and she holds my hand while walking. We went to the parking lot and as soon as we get there, she pinned me in her car and gave me a kiss. A torrid, french kiss.

I pulled away from the kiss and smiled at her.
"Too early love. Your place."
Nauna na akong pumasok sa kotse niya as if matagal na akong sumasakay dito. Pumunta na din siya sa driver's seat and immediately drove the car to her condo.
