The room fell deadly silent, both your teammates avoiding direct eye contact with any elves while the Canaries watched them carefully, most likely trying to decide if what they were saying was a big lie or the truth. You rested your forehead on your clasped hands, silently praying that they bought it. Elves think they are a superior race, don't they? They see tall-men and half-foots as children so they should underestimate them.

After a few seconds Pattadol sighed ". . .I see"

By your side you could see Kabru absolutely go ballistic in the corner of your eye. He is probably insulting and scolding Laios not only in the common language. While behind, you could hear Fleki and Otta whisper among eachothers while chuckling about something.

"Come to think about it" Cithis suddenly cimed up, looking around curiously "The captain has gonne missing" she pointed out, leaning her cheek on her hand. Fleki let out a childish laugh "Ahhhhh~" and at her side Lycion tilted his head "I bet he just got lost again. Let's go looking for him"

However at his words Laios suddenly froze and started sweating profusely while keeping glancing up toward the ceiling "Ummm! Errrr! Wait just a moment! Uhhh. . ." Your eye twitched as quiet cursed were muffled by the cloth around your mouth. Did Laios wants to make it more obvious!? While you're at it, put up an arrow sign pointing to the attic! They hid them there, didn't they!?

Before Lycion could go through the door, your captain slammed his back against it, blocking his way earning a curious gaze from the silver elf "One of us has gone missing. Let us go through"

"Err. . .that's, uhh. . ."

"What's the matter?"

"Well. . ."

Suddenly the door behind was open and Senshi walked through it, carrying a plate full of tea and something gelatinous "Tea!" Laios exclaimed, pointing to the tray "That's right! We've prepared some tea!" Without saying another word the dwarf passed to all of you a cup of the beverage, together with the gelatin.

Your expression brighten up once your hands cupped the mug and you sniffed it. They used the Naiad's water to make these! This bring back good memories.

". . .For now, how about we take a break? We've both gone through a lot in just the past few days." Regained his cool Laios sat down once again in front of Pattadol, leaning his arms on the table "In order to explain all that's happened, I think we need time to calm down and get our feeling in order."

"I can guarantee that you'll be safe so long as you're in this house. So please just give us a little of your time"

Pattadol looked down at the food with a slight grimace "This is. . ." Her words were cut off by Kabru who let out a loud and excited 'Oh, Wow!' smiling at the sight of the gelatinous thing "This was made by Senshi, wasn't it!? He's a genius when it comes to cooking!" He exclaimed before turning toward you, closing his eyes as he kept smiling "Isn't that right ____?"

You quickly nodded you head, muffled noises could be heard as you completely agreed with him.
