A long, long time ago, way back when the species of the humans and the plantalings.

They both prospered together, but all changed in a day for the two species have fought, and the
plantalings disappeared in the ground, the humans, afraid they'll attack one day, set their home
on fire.

That'll rage on forever till it is over. A few years and months have passed, and legends
go around of those disappearing in the mines and never being seen again...

2024, February 11th

The Wickers' House
A young boy, within his early teens, was in the kitchen sitting at the counter, waiting for
his mom to finish making his lunch.

"My Lil Orchid, can you please go outside and pick out the weeds while I make your
lunch."

The young boy nodded in approval as he walked outside to the garden.

He picked up his
gardening gloves and an old hammer. He swirled his hammer in the air and caught it by the handle.

He started to pick the weeds one by one, and he started to move back a bit against a ledge of the
garden, he moved back one more time and dropped to the ground, falling through it and down a
pit.

The drop lasted forever; the dark around him, it consumed him.

He felt the wrapping of vines around his body. He struggled a little while before falling and hitting the ground, feeling the rough ground beneath him.

He slowly got up and limped, feeling the aching and soreness of the many bruises and burns around his body during the fall.

After a while of limping aguishly for what seemed like an eternity, he stumbled upon a cottage.

"Oh Dear." A pair of leaves wrapped around him and dragged him inside, bumping his head against the door frame, the mysterious figure then gently placed him on the bed.

A few hours later, the young boy woke up laying on a comfy fluffy bed that was made of leaves and cotton. The pillow he laid on felt like a cloud.

"Oh my, you're awake," He looked up to see a woman made leaves and flowers. She gave off a fragrance of rose petals and looked beautiful like a rose herself.

However, he was afraid of her at first, but when she spoke, her voice was soft and lovely.

"Don't be afraid, my dear, I'm not going to hurt you." She came closer to him while placing her leaf hand on his head. A green glow flowed around them both as the boy's wounds dissolved away.

"There you go, Gardener, no harm done." The boy looked up at her confused, tilting his head.

"Oh, isn't that what you are darling?" Gardener looked down to his hands to see his gloves and hammer, the symbols that stood out to others the most. Gardener nodded, accepting his new name into this new world and to his new friend. The flower lady gasped in realization.

"Oh goodness, how rude of me, I didn't introduce myself," She then stood up from the bed,

"I'm Rosaline, and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Gardener." Rosaline smiled as a subtle red hue appeared on her cheeks from embarrassment.

Gardener only nodded, later on they both talked to one another, well it was more like Rosaline talked to Gardener as he wrote down on a notebook, the grandfather clock chimed meaning it was time to go.

As Gardener arose from the bed and headed to the front door, he was then stopped by Rosaline, who was carrying a bag.

"Before you leave, please accept my request?" Gardener nodded, waiting for her answer,

"Please, come visit me soon, will you not?" Rosaline had a saddened smile on her face but was surprised when Gardener embraced her in his arms, knowing of her loneliness in this cottage, too nervous to move deeper into The Garden. Gardener lets her go and waves her goodbye with the bag Rosaline gave him. As Rosaline watched her new friend go, she could mutter to herself.

"Please be back soon." Leaving the memories of her and Gardener talking with her.
