So! Where has Magic been? Great question! We've been, well, very fucking busy. Our last announcement was some time in July and talked about a project over on Tumblr (more on that later), but that's about it. That announcement was sent (I think) in the midst of traveling and the finals of summer semester, aka a small taste of hell. Imagine, 16 weeks of class condensed into 7. And then all of summer filled with an and b blocks of 7 weeks, 2 class in each block and one 14 week class that spanned both blocks. It wasn't pretty. SO, that took a lot of time and energy, and now that I've started the first semester of my second year, I've been thinking
We might make some big changes thanks to Big Thoughts, including either changing our psych major for communication sciences and disorders, or dropping the second major (while continuing with music). Sophomore burnout is so fucking real, take care of yourself university goers, it hurts so bad
Currently though, while we have a lighter semester class wise, we're auditioning for vocal jazz, a very selective a cappella group on campus, and if we get in, will have a busy schedule in order to stay dedicated to the group
Outside of school related things, we've been learning how to take care of ourselves and put ourselves first? It's a weird experience, but that includes learning how to crochet better, and current projects include baby blankets and wearable things like hoodies and shawls, and maybe a shirt or a pair of shorts. Something we're also doing is learning how to sketch again (skill regression is REAL), because that disappeared in the last couple years
Something else I've been super passionate about recently is Twitch! Not too long ago, I became a Twitch Affiliate and have been having a blast. If you're a fan of games Minecraft, The Sims, Phasmophobia, and other variety with chill vibes, come hang out with us at twitch.tv/magic_allity. We have a Discord server for the community too and it's so much fun, come join the yappers and enjoy yourself. Night of Horror, a monthly event we created, is coming up next weekend and we have some cool games planned (and October is Month of Horror, soooooo....)

Something we stream often, though, is the Humble Realm, a roleplay Minecraft server with members of our main Discord, the Humble Abode. There's going to be a video put up soon on a YouTube channel with a recap of the lore, but that vod can be found on Twitch for now
ANYWAYS, social/online things! Wondering what happened to Banished? Tbh, nothing, it's just sitting there taking a week deserved nap.......
We had lost the book with our character notes for a bit but now that it's found (I think?), we can get working on that. THE GOAL FOR THE FINAL CHAPTER IS TO BE POSTED BEFORE NEW YEARS. Also? It's hard. That fic has been here through so many formative moments, and remembering what was happening and when while rereading is a lot. Banished means so much to us and to you all, and that blows my mind. One day, we'll put the child to rest, though, and say goodbye.......

But a Banished rewrite isn't my priority; HAT is. What is HAT? The Half Alive Trilogy, an mcyt AU with many notable names and faces, twists that you might not see coming, and found family because I physically can't resist adding that. It's a zombie apocalypse type of world inspired by my love for DayZ. My goal is to have a teaser chapter (like a trailer because I could imagine this shit as a movie) released some time in the beginning of next year, but no promises for now. Closer to time you'll be given more updates on the matter, but I hope you're as excited as I am for this. It's going to be killer :3

Ok last thing but something else we've been crazy invested in is binging all of the Star Wars media released chronologically, and are currently on Bad Batch s2 and are emotionally not ok this is feeding the found family brain rot
