Chapter 1: tomfoolery

It was a bright and sunny day... haha just kidding!! No it wasn't. It was storming outside and everything fucking sucked. Fiddleford sat at his work bench, trying to think of possible flaws in the portal, every "tiny" slip-up could result in a freak accident. On days like these, Fiddleford wondered if the frequent lightning outside would affect the portal, Ford simply brushed it off every time. 'Calm down Fiddleford, get yourself together and work!' He thought to himself, slapping the top of his head. Suddenly, he heard Ford's loud footsteps careening down the stairway.
"Fidds! I know what we need to do today!"
Fiddleford's face lit up, sitting up some more because of his god-awful posture.
"Uh, yeah? What is it?" He chirped, standing from his desk

"We need to go on a quest. Are you up for it? It's going to be one of the most difficult ones we'll ever do, but I think it should be manageable." Ford said, slipping of his coat and adjusting his glasses. He puffed out his chest, trying to make himself look confident for some reason. Fiddleford was used to this, though he didn't like these magical expeditions himself, it was all worth it in the end, seeing Ford happy. "Well... alright, fine. I'll get your pens"Fiddleford was cut off. "Not this time, Fidds. There's simply no time for journaling." Ford left the room, ushering Fiddleford to follow suit. Fidds pursed his lips. 'No journal? What in gods name am I being dragged into?'

Fiddleford met Ford in the driveway, he stared at the clouds like a child gazing at candy. "So, what's this expedition we're going on, anyway?"

"Fiddleford, we're going to look for Brokeback Mountain 4K Ultra HD blu-ray dvd."
