The tension in Peter's apartment was palpable as he and Wade faced off in the middle of the living room. The aftermath of their latest mission had turned into an explosive argument, with both of them venting frustrations that had been simmering for too long.

"Seriously, Wade?" Peter shouted, pacing back and forth. "Do you even listen to yourself? You charged in like a bull in a china shop, and now look where we are!"

Wade, sitting on the edge of the couch with his mask half-off, shot back with equal intensity. "Oh, come on! I was trying to get the job done. I didn't see you coming up with a master plan! Maybe if you didn't overthink everything, we'd actually make some progress!"

Peter's face was flushed with anger. "Overthink? We've been through this before! It's not about overthinking, it's about not being reckless! You're going to get us both killed if you keep this up!"

Wade jumped up, his frustration matching Peter's. "Reckless? I'm not the one who freezes up in the heat of the moment! You're always so cautious that you miss out on opportunities to actually make a difference!"

The argument grew louder, each voice rising in volume as they continued to clash. Peter's frustration turned into a mix of anger and hurt, while Wade's responses were sharp and defensive.

"Opportunities?" Peter snapped. "You mean the ones where you put us in unnecessary danger? I'm tired of having to clean up your messes!"

Wade's eyes narrowed, his voice becoming almost a growl. "And I'm tired of you acting like you're the only one who knows how to do things right! You don't get to dictate how I do my job!"

Peter's hands clenched into fists as he struggled to control his temper. "I'm not dictating! I'm trying to make sure we both get through this alive! If you can't see that, then maybe you need to rethink your approach!"

The argument seemed to reach a fever pitch, with both of them shouting over each other, their voices echoing off the walls. Peter's patience was wearing thin, and he felt a surge of frustration that he couldn't contain.

"I can't do this anymore!" Peter yelled, his voice breaking with the weight of his emotion. "Just leave! I need some space!"

Wade looked taken aback by the sudden outburst, his own anger momentarily stunned. "What? You're kicking me out?"

"Yes!" Peter shouted. "I can't deal with this right now. I need you to leave and give me some time alone!"

Wade's expression was a mix of hurt and frustration. "Fine! If that's how you want it!"

Wade stormed toward the door; Peter stood in the middle of the room, breathing heavily, his face a mask of anger and exhaustion. The door slammed behind Wade, leaving Peter alone in the apartment, the silence following the storm of their argument.

Peter sank into the couch, his anger giving way to a deep sense of weariness. He rubbed his face with his hands, the weight of the argument leaving him feeling emotionally drained. The apartment, once a place of comfort, now felt heavy with the residue of their clash.

He knew that the argument wasn't just about the mission or the mistakes made—it was about deeper frustrations and unspoken feelings that had been bubbling beneath the surface. But for now, all he wanted was to be alone, to process the whirlwind of emotions that had just erupted.

As the city lights flickered outside the window, Peter took a deep breath, trying to find some semblance of calm amidst the chaos. The night was quiet now, and he knew that eventually, they would need to address what had happened. But for the moment, he needed this space to clear his head and try to make sense of the tumultuous emotions that had brought them to this point.
