I rush out of my home, worried that I'll be late for school.
"Bianca?! Aren't you going to at least eat first???" my mother asks me with a look of concern.
"Not today, mom. Don't worry, I'll eat the leftovers when I get home," I reply, opening the front door. "BIANCAAAA! WHERE ARE ALL THE BOOKS YOU BORROWED FROM ME LAST NIGHT?!" my eldest brother, Alistair yells from the top of the stairs. "I need it to go to college!!!"
"They're on the couch, Alistair!" I reply, rolling my eyes out of annoyance. "Well, how was I supposed to know that?!" he yells back, running down the stairs and grabbing the books from the couch.
"Bianca?! Where's my other sock???" my second eldest brother, Alex asked me. "Why are you asking me?! Check the washing machine, you idiot!" I scowl.
I hear someone calling my name, right before the door shut. "WHAT?!" I ask, fuming. My third elder brother, Axel, stands up from the chair he is sitting on and waves my phone in the air. "I don't think it's a good idea to forget your phone," he smirks. I shriek and speeds back inside before grabbing it from his hand. I thank him and gives him a quick hug before rushing back outside and shutting the door.
I run to the bus stop and barely got on the bus as the doors were closing. Thank God the doors were slow, otherwise I would've missed the bus, I said to myself silently. I sink into the only empty seat I can find, without even glancing at the person next to me since I was tired from running. I should really work out more, I thought to myself.
"You look so tired," the person next to me says, startling me. I turn to see his face, and saw his beautiful green eyes, almost swooning before I finally see his face. It was Hunter, my rival. Whatever I thought about his beautiful eyes were gone by then as I groan. "Out of everyone in this world that goes to our school, why do I have to be stuck sitting next to YOU?" I scoff. "I had this seat first, so technically it wasn't my fault you sat here. I know you like me and all, but this is getting a bit creepy Bianca, even for you," Hunter says, grinning. "I don't like you, you ugly piece of toad!" I hiss. I hate him so much. He gets under my nerves all the time!
I met Hunter on my first day of school when he was skateboarding in the hallway and crashed into me, not to mention landing right ON TOP of me. I gazed into his ruby-red eyes and for a moment, I was lost in them. Then, he whispered, "Wow... You're the most... Stupid girl I've ever seen! Don't you have eyes?!" he asked, jumping back to his feet. "Um, excuse you! I was just walking and YOU crashed into ME!" I yelled. "Whatever," he said, before skating away.
Ever since that day, we would always get into fights and he would always be the one getting me landed in detention! So, the fact that I am sitting right next to me makes me want to punch his stupid nose. He combs his fingers through his hair and smirks. "Have you seen me before? I'm the most good-looking guy in the school! This face and perfect body was made to be a model," he brags. "Boy, you are delusional if you think that any girl would like YOU," I reply, crossing my arms across my chest. "Um, I literally have a lot of girls in line, just wishing to go out on a date with me. I get love letters literally every. Single. Day!" I roll my eyes. "Only the dumb would do that. And since you love yourself a bit too much, you're just as dumb as them! Maybe even dumber if you're lucky," I shot. All through the bus ride, we continue to argue. The bus stops in front of the school and I get off it, feeling my head ache. Probably because Hunter.
I enter the school and instantly search my best friend, Lucas. When I see him, I instantly run up to him from behind, pull his blond hair softly and hop on his back. "Geez! I thought I told you not to do that to me!" Luke says, obviously annoyed. "Couldn't help myself! Anyway, did you finish your math homework..." my voice trails of as I see a crowd of students gathering around a poster. Since it's difficult for me to see from all of the students' heads blocking the way, I ask Lucas what it is. "It's a poster for a field trip to an art museum," Luke says, choking. "Can you get off my back now? My mother threw her slippers to my back this morning and it still hurts," Lucas says as I get off and help him rub his back. "What did you do this time?" I ask curiously. "I may or may not have cut one of my sister's dresses in half as revenge for dirtying my favorite book. Since mom didn't believe me when I told her and told me to frickin admit that I was just bad at taking good care of my belongings, I decided to take things into my own hands," Lucas says sheepishly. "I don't regret it a second." I burst out laughing at the thought of him fighting with his sister. Lucas and his twin sister has always had a love-hate relationship. Even when they don't show it and are constantly at war, they'll always help each other whenever they needed each other the most. Lucas and I decided to walk to our first class and I can't help but think of going to the art museum. Even though I'll be seen as a loser, at least I'll be doing something that I'm interested in, right?
We make way to our table with ease since nobody is here yet. Luke looked at me with a bored expression. "Bianca, you have the prettiest silver hair I've ever seen, yet you don't even bother to TIE it," Lucas says. Ever since we met which was in primary school, Lucas always had his eyes for my hair and would love to do different hairstyles on them. I'll always keep it long so his fun wouldn't be ruined. So, Lucas takes his hairstyling kit from his bag and styles my hair for me.
