"Whaaaaat!" I exclaimed.
"You heard well, your marriage is in 3 months time." My dad said.
"But dad why, like I'm the youngest here. See Ayman, he's 26, Hizzah she's 23, Hikmah she's 21 and I'm JUST 19. Besides dad I don't have a suitor yet."
This is not good.
"That's the point, you don't have a suitor yet." Dad replied.
"It's just a contract for 3 years, you'll be fine." Ayman assured me.
"Just for you to grow and be matured okay?" Hizzah added.
I'm so fed up.
"Hanaan don't disclose it, it's on low-key okay " Hikmah said.
"Toh I'll tell just Farhaanah she'll tell it to her twin Farhan who has a huge crush on me." I rolled my eyes.
"That's enough people." I don't know what Hikmah's problem is.
"Of course not, they have families, where should I put their parents, Fariha, Farrah and Farha, and Afrah."
"It's your marriage not mine, the more people attend the more they'll abuse you when you divorce after 3 years, it's up to you." Hikmah said.
"Of course it's up to me." I rolled my eyes at her.
"Hikmah and Hanaan be warned." That's Dad.
I continued with my food. Hikmah and I are the closest and we fight a lot, mostly over little things, like see what caused this. That's why she never gets a stable boyfriend, she's such a beautiful bully.
We finished eating and I packed the plates to the kitchen, I've done enough by helping Stella, she'll wash it.
Dad went to office, Ayman too, Hizzah, Hikmah and I went to our various rooms. Mom was left in the living room to watch her Indian series.
I slumped on my bed to continue my movie when I got a call from Uswah, my brother's girlfriend.
"Hey Hanaan, how have you been."
"Cool you?"
"Same"
"Um please is Ayman at home ?"
"Nooo, hope no problem you sound tensed." I asked.
"Well I offended him and he's not been picking my calls since then it's just yesterday but... I miss him so much already." She sighed.
"Okay I'll try his number now."
"Oh thanks. Bye."
"Bye." I hung up.
I can't intrude in couple's fight.
I dialed Farhaanah's number but she wasn't answering so, I dropped a text instead.
I wonder how my husband looks, don't blame me for what I want to say, I'm suspecting he's around dad's age, it's business so of course he'll be his mate.
This is NOT good.

"Hanaan, get ready your fiance is coming tomorrow." Dad informed.
Oh Alhamdulillah at least I'll get to see him before the wedding.
"Okay Dad. But dad you said I was your baby, why are you giving me off for marriage?" I frowned, going to sit next to him.
"You know it's just for 3 years and your sisters have boyfriends already, they can't break up because of that. Please okay?"
Dad has never asked me for a favor like... Never, so why would I decline this.
"Okay Dad."
"That's my darling, I'm sure you'll like him. So want do you want, just mention."
"Anything Dad... Just anything."
"Okay next week you and Hikmah would go on vacation to Egypt for 2 weeks okay?"
"Okay Dad, thanks Dad." I squealed.
"I've booked a store for you to shop for your wedding at Dubai but that would be next month."
"That's cool, is it just me?"
"No and your mom." He replied.
"Go to sleep, it's late already, good night." He stood up.
"Okay I just came to take some candies."
I went to have my candies and headed back to my room.
I took my phone and saw 5 missed calls from Farhaanah. She's so dramatic. I called her back.
"Hanaan just tell me you were joking." Was the first thing she said.
"I swear I wasn't, he's coming over tomorrow."
" I won't be able to make it to your place tomorrow, I'm going to be busy throughout this week. But make sure you take his picture okay?"
I sighed, I knew she would say that.
"I don't think so."
"I'm not listening to anything just try."
"Okay please inform Farhaan."
"My brother would be heartbroken."
"I need to sleep, my regards to Afrah oo."
"Okay sweet dreams."
"Good night."
I hung up and continued with my K-drama before I fell asleep.
