I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, it was Katie ringing, I look at my lockscreen its 11:30, I pick up the phone and hold it to my ear " Hi Katie" I say groggily into the speaker, "LAYLA CHECK YOUR INSTAGRAM RIGHT NOW " Katie practically screams through the speaker. " Ok, ok, ill check it now just give me a minute to get out of bed. " I put Katie on speaker as I walk to my living room and sit down on my couch, I go onto my Instagram and see Joost Klein has liked and commented on my most recent post. "OMG KATIE HE COMMENTED AND LIKED MY POST" I scream, and Katie starts laughing at my reaction " I know bitch you are so lucky first he winks at you at the concert and now he's commenting and liked your post" Katie giggles through the line "I can't believe this omg"

After an hour on the phone having my little catch up with Katie, I hung up the call and looked up at the clock on the wall and it was 1 o'clock and I have to go to work at 3 so I got up and made my bed, I also made myself something to eat I made a bagel with cream cheese. I played a vinyl on my record player it was one of my favorite albums it was humbug. As I made my way to my bedroom to get ready my favorite song dance little liar came on so sang along as a walked up to my room. 

I put my hair into a slick back bun and did a natural make up look as I was just going to be working. I put on my work uniform, and I looked at the clock it was half 2 so I grabbed my tote bag and locked up my house. The bar isn't a far walk from my house its only around a ten-minute walk, but I like to be early for extra time to set up.

It took me about 15 minutes to set up so I still had 5 minutes, so I just opened the doors a few minutes early. Its only me working tonight but I didn't really mind it's never really that busy on a Sunday. Around two minutes later a group of 6 people walked in and sat at the bar. I looked up and I see none other than Joost Klein and all of his friends including Stuntje, Apson, Nathan, Alanis, Tuen, I had to try keep it cool because oh my god I was about to die. " Hi, would you guys like anything to drink at this moment" "hey, yes I would like to open a tab under Joost Klein please and could we please get 5 Bacardi colas" Joost answers for the group " yes of course I'll be back in a minute" I say as I walk away to make the Bacardi colas, thank God that they ordered something simple I hate making overly complicated cocktails or drinks. 

I finish making the drinks and hand them to the group, I expected for them to just walk away and go sit at a table as that's normally what people do but they stayed sitting at the bar and actually started talking to me. "Hey what's your name" Tuen was the first one to talk to me. "My name is Layla; I would ask what your names are, but I already know hahaha" I laughed, they all laughed with me which felt very surreal. Joost turns to me and asks " I recognize you, were you at my show last night" I was shocked to say the least he actually remembered " yes, I was, it was amazing you put on some show" I say back to him. " Ah thank you that means a lot to me" he responds shaking his hands together.

A couple of hours go by and Joost and his friends are still here sitting at the bar talking to me. I look up to the clock it reads 7 o clock only 1 more hour to go until my shift is over, oh how I couldn't wait to go home and tell Katie about this later. The bar got a bit busier as time went on, but I didn't really mind as I actually had people to talk to, its usually one-person working shift at a time and customers would just order their drinks and go back to their table so it was a nice change to have people to talk to me during my shift. " Hey Layla, we are about to head out it was nice meeting you; Ill follow you on Instagram so we can keep in touch" Alanis says waving me a goodbye. 

The group leave except one, none other than Joost Klein. " Hey Layla just wondering when you get off of your shift" Joost asks me "I get off at 8 so in a half an hour to go" I respond back to him giving him a small smile. " Cool, just wondering if you would like to go somewhere after you're done" Joost asks with a big smile on his face. As soon as he says that on the inside, I'm freaking the fuck out, but I have to keep it cool this is going to be hard trying not to freak out. " Yea sure, I just have to make sure the person talking over is here before I leave" I say back to him. 

Not long after my coworker comes in to take over so I can leave, I finish serving my customers and finally I can leave. " 1 minute I have to go get my bag from the back" I say to Joost he just nods back at me with a big smile. I run into the back and look into the mirror to make sure my makeup is alright, and I spray some of my favorite perfume on (Carolina Herrara good girl if you are wondering xx) I walk out to see Joost standing there looking around the bar he looks so cute standing there. " Hey, you ready to go" I say to him "yes, so where do you want to go" Joost says as we walk out the bar "I don't mind where we go to be honest " I say back to him. " This might sound really stupid as its nighttime, but I was thinking the beach" Joost says, and I giggle "Yea the beach actually sounds really good right now" I say back to him with a smile on my face.

I could tell already tonight was going to be really good.
