THE FULMEN KRISTALLOS

Shane Holland the CEO of Holland's arms a subsidiary of VESTHO ETHAN TECHNOLOGIES which belonged to the Holland family  sat at the half filled auction room his gaze upon the crystal gem which was being displayed on the show glass ,the seemingly glowing and alluring inside seemed to call to him and with much difficulty he tore his gaze away from it and started searching the palm leaflet in his hand for information about the crystal gem, a smile formed on his face as he arrived at the page written THE FULMEN KRISTALLOS , according to the information on the leaflet the crystal was excavated from an ancient war site in ancient Egypt where it was believed that EL the creator and the leader of the white eternals defeated his evil half brother known as the demon king, according to legends the crystal was among the five crystal gem which were encrusted upon the crown of zewis and which got lost together with the crown after EL activated it and used it's power to vanquish his evil step brother's army and then locked him up in the abyss of halem .
After going through the myth about the crystal gem Shane smiled and thought to himself that whoever made the story up so as to skyrocket the value of the crystal must have been quite a genius.
As the bidding for the crystal gem reached it peak  only two individuals MR. Anderson of the national history museum and another guy whom racul his personal assistant couldn't find any info on were  still bidding for the crystal gem ,just as the mystery man out bidded MR. Anderson Shane received a call from his sister telling him to buy the crystal gem for her as she wished to mold it into a jewelry as a birthday gift to their mother who was visiting them next month,  as the mysterious fellow was about to be handed the  FULMEN KRISTALLOS Shane who was sitting at the far end of the auction room shouted ‘fifty million dollars’.
The whole room turned silent like a graveyard as every living being inside the auction room turned their head to see who had made the bid meanwhile the mystery man who was boiling with livid anger banged his hands on the desk next to him and angrily left the auction room to everyone's amazement .
With the initial shock gone everyone became composed and shane instructed racul to pick the crystal gem up so that they could leave as he had some office file to attend to at home.
On the ride home Shane noticed a black Lexus 350 model following them from behind
‘do you think that the car is following us’ racul who seemed to have noticed the situation asked his boss who was sitting behind in the limited edition Ferrari sports car.
‘only one way to find out’shane said with a smile and added ‘enter into another lane’
‘yes sir’ racul said and quickly swerved into another lane and sure enough the Lexus entered they lane.
‘alright loose them’ shane said and started making a phone call to one of his contact to take the picture of the Lexus's plate number and send it to him once he gets home.
Quickly racul made some zig zag movement and before the driver of the Lexus could comprehend what was going on racul had already mixed up with other cars and sped off to Shane's estate.
Once Shane arrived Berlani his younger sister rushed out to welcome him and while helping him to take off his coat asked him about the crystal gem that she had requested.
‘oh, that take it from my suit case and be careful with it cause some bad guys are onto it for whatever reason’ shane said while unbuttoning his white tuxedo suit.
‘what do you mean?’Berlani asked confused
‘guess I don't know myself ’ Shane said and added ‘meanwhile I have arranged with the goldsmiths to come over here and do the job that way it will be safer,  don't you think? ’.
‘yeah it's great’ Berlani said and walked off to inform the cook on the menu for the night while Shane called the office and told them that he won't be coming to work the next day and  that all his appointments to that effect be cancelled and postponed.
The next day as the clocked ticked noon the goldsmith and his men arrived at Shane's mansion to work on the crystal ,racul who had been wearing a glove as was his tradition handed the crystal to Shane who kept it beside the fireplace where the work would take place , as the goldsmith put on his glove and made to hammer the crystal gem he got zapped across the room by some sort of field force which covered the crystal.
‘what the fuck happened ’ shane said and picked up the crystal gem from beside the fireplace while the goldsmith who had been frightened out of his wit picked up his equipments and together with his assistant quickly left the mansion in a hurry.
Berlani was surprised by the occurrence and quickly contacted the head engineer of Holland arms and told him to come over to the house to pick up the crystal for experiment.
With the hullabaloo over everyone retired to their rooms while racul left for his house at the workers estate. After a week Shane Holland received an e-mail from the head engineer of his company instructing him to come over to the company's headquarter as they had concluded the experiments on the crystal gem, quickly Shane ordered his bath to be made ready and within fifteen minutes was set to go.
‘where are you going?’a sweating Berlani who had just finished her early morning martial art training said seeing Shane all dressed up.
‘well the head engineer of the company called? ’Shane replied.
‘so?’Berlani queried further eager to hear the full gist.
‘He said that they had concluded the experiment on the crystal gem and that the result is out’ Shane said picking up his car key while contacting racul to come pick him up from his house.
As Shane entered the company's headquarter the head engineer came out to see him and after the customary greeting ushered him into his office where the crystal gem was placed inside a transparent show glass.
‘So what did you find out’ Shane asked curiously.
‘Well sir, this crystal gem is no ordinary crystal from our experiment we found out that it contained a substance that could trigger explosion of any velocity and it can transmit that substance into another object temporarily making it a deadly weapon, but sir if may ask where did you get the crystal gem from ?’the head engineer Lawrence asked.
‘I bought it from an auction center at the charity gala I attended last week, anyways I want you to finish that project we are working on that is the new world gate and maybe at it opening event we would also unveil this crystal gem and what ever secret is hidden in it’ Shane said and left the office and moved up through the elavator to the tenth floor of the building where his office was located.
‘Wait outside ’ Shane said to racul and took the crystal gem from him and closed the door behind him , once inside he pressed some button underneath the office table and a secret compartment opened, he climbed down and kept it there then he looked around to ensure that all the project files he was working on and those that he was planning to work on were intact when he confirmed this he climbed up and locked the place up after which he settled down to work on some paper work.
At the end of the day work Shane went home and told Berlani to contact they media and publicity department to broadcast the unveiling of the new world gate and the unraveling of the mystery of the crystal gem.
Through out  the week Shane and Berlani together with everyone else made preparation for the success of the unveiling ceremony while the news of the ceremony was going viral with everyone in the country doing they best to make sure that they had the ticket to attend the ceremony ,on the day of the event the fifty thousand seating capacity of new royal Holland hotel hall was filled before the kick of time for the event and as Shane was making the final round of inspection before he would go and give the opening speech of the ceremony he spotted racul discreetly making a phone call while looking around suspiciously and wanting to talk out the weird bad feeling that had been stalking him since morning approached him and touched him at the shoulder from behind causing racul who was startled to jerk and drop his phone on the ground breaking it beyond repair.
‘whats up with you man,who were you calling? ’Shane asked squinting his face.
‘uhm...uhm.. nobody just my wife,yes my wife’ Racul said stammering and nodding his head.
‘Men when did you have a wife’ Shane said with a fake smile forming on his face.
‘i meant my wife to be ’ racul said and quickly noticing that he was acting weird said ‘i got to go’ and then dashed out towards the gate and just as he arrived at the gate a black car pulled up followed by a sienna car, the occupant of the black car came out and started talking in low tone with the racul.
‘he is acting really weird,isn't he?’Berlani said patting his brother who had been standing still and watching racul as he left  from the back.
‘yeah and I just saw him talking to a man in a black Lexus 350 ,the Sam car that was following us the day I bought that crystal gem at the auction ’ Shane said taking a deep breath.
‘don't worry bro, I'll keep an eye on him? ’Berlani said.
‘you better do cause if he tries anything that will sabotage this event am gonna put three smoking hot bullet into his heart and one to the head’ Shane said.
‘don't worry bro,hopefully it won't get to that anyways you go rock that speech ,okay?’ Berlani said with a charming smile which loosened Shane up and he smiled back at her and headed towards the podium just as the announcer was calling unto him to give the opening speech for the start of the event.
Once up on the stage Shane took the micro phone from the announcer and cleared his throat and then began his speech.
‘good morning ladies and gentlemen ‚it is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to this Event where first all all we would be unveiling our latest project THE NEW WORLD GATE’ Shane said and the crowd started applauding as the stage men wheeled unto the stage the new world gate machine which was covered in a white sheet.
‘ladies and gentlemen I present to you the new world gate’ Shane said and in an exaggerated manner took the white sheet of the machine and everyone gave another round of applause.
‘ok everybody, it's okay ’ Shane said trying to stop the applause which he succeeded in doing after much attempt,then he continued his speech ‘this machine you all are seeing here is a machine like no other ,with this machine you can shut off any enemy technology from at least ten miles away and with this technology you can X-RAY anything you want to make it bare and expose anything hidden in it  meanwhile you can get this machine from tomorrow at any of our companies office through out Africa  and with that we now move forward to the second phase of this program after which there would be more demonstration and finally quality refreshment so stay with us and let's get into the second phase’ Shane said and the stage men  wheeled in the crystal into stage at first people wondered what the crystal was all about and with a smile Shane began the second part of his speech ‘I know you all would be wondering what the fuck am doing with this crystal but after we're done you won't wonder anymore’ Shane said and told one of the stage assistants to bring a hammer and hit the crystal gem With it, the assistant obeyed and once he hit the hammer on the crystal gem he got zapped across the room by a yellow glowing field force and this time he passed out and Shane had to tell the medics to go take care of him. Everyone inside the room gasped with a mixture of shock and surprise which excited Shane as he was about to continue his marketing director texted him that they had made over a hundred million dollars from the ticket and that over a thousand order were already coming in for the machine. with a smile Shane continued ‘alright guys who wanna know more about this damn crystal ’ he said raising up the crystal gem for all to see while everyone shouted and raised they hands up.
‘alright, let's see what we got here’ shane said placing the crystal on the new world gate when suddenly racul walked into the room holding Berlani at gun point ,when the crowd saw this they all started filtering away quietly and before Shane could do anything else a man in a black shirt who seemed awful familiar stood up followed by fifteen other men all training they sub machine guns on Shane, this scene made every other person in the hall to run away each one shouting Luke a canary.
‘Shane, racul double-crossed us he is working with those that want to steal the crystal gem from us’ Berlani said .
‘yeah ,I can see that already, the question is’ Shane said turning to the man in black ‘what do you guys really want’.
‘nothing personal man just doing the job we were paid for and for racul we just paid his price ,right man’ the man said turning to racul.
‘you're hell right’ racul replied grinning.
‘now man just hand the crystal gem over and we're be out of here without anybody getting hurt’ the man said.
‘sorry man I can't do that’ Shane said and gave a nod to Berlani who quickly used her hills to kick Racul at the groin causing him to topple over in pain and then she bolted out of the room ,then with an incredible alacrity Shane quickly pressed the activation button on the crystal gem hoping that whatever it would emit would buy him enough time to escape with it but just before  the  machine could finished the X-ray Shane pushed the machine to face the man but he out of fear quickly pulled the trigger but he missed Shane as the bullet hit the machine and it turned and faced Shane who was standing very close to it and immediately some sort of heat radiation started emitting from the machine and hit Shane absorbing into his body and a moment later the crystal fell out from the machine all it's spark and glowing charm gone from it,then Shane fell down and blacked out .
‘go get that crystal’ the man ordered one of his men who quickly left his gun with the guy next to him and rushed up the stage to pick up the crystal gem which was lying next to Shane. Just as he made to grab the crystal gem Shane eyes flickered open shining ox blood red ,the man gave a short cry and made to retreat back but Shane stretched his hands and held him at the neck and still holding him stood up and in front of everyone the hand which Shane was using to hold the man started glowing just the way the crystal gem did when it zapped the goldsmith and the stage attendant and then the man melted and turned into a skeleton everyone started shouting and they was pandemonium among the remaining men who started rushing towards the exit but were halted in their tracks when Shane suddenly shot like a rocket and appeared in the doorway .
‘GOODBYE FELLAS’ he said in the most demonic tone ever and folded his  hands into a fist and suddenly the glowing misty yellow field force appeared and he hit the ground with it and suddenly a serious earthquake started shaking the building and before long it collapsed killing everyone in it except the mysterious man who just had a broken leg and then managed to escape from the scene while Shane took hold of the crystal gem and holding it tightly inside his hand blacked out due to fatigue.
