Chapter One Nothing

Nothing, seeing nothing but the stars hearing nothing but your blank thoughts, and feeling nothing but the water surrounding you. That's what I miss most about Blue Mountain Road i miss the starry nights floating in the pool alone in absolute silence, the most relaxing feeling one can ever find. On Blue Mountain Road I had everything, or so I thought. back when it was just me I thought nothing could get better. Blue Mountain Road was all I ever knew the only place I'd ever lived, but then it all came crashing down my family didn't feel like a family anymore my two sisters had left one to college and one to who knows where. my mom had a new baby to look after and my dad never really cared it was winter time the season I hated most there were no beach trips no pool and no long nights by the bombfire singing along as loud as my sisters and I could to whatever came on the radio. Nothing but me sitting in my room binging the first show that popped up on whatever streaming service would load, hoping the internet didn't go out. eventually, I understood that I was alone, I understood that the baby took my mom college had consumed one of my sisters and the other probably wasn't coming back.
