"Mommy!" I heard Wesley's tiny voice wail from his nursery. I looked over at my clock which read 4:30, I had three more hours before I had to be up and ready for school. Apparently Wesley has started getting the notion that whenever he woke up I had to be up as well and anyone else in the house for that matter. This had become our morning routine for the past week.

"Mommy is coming Wes!" I yelled back to him as I finally got out of my bed. I treaded down the hall to his nursey where I found him standing up in his crib. He began laughing his little head off as I lifted him up and out of the crib.

"Wesley James Andersen do you know what time it is?" I asked him as I shut the lights off in his nursery. "No I no know!" Wesley exclaimed resting his head on my shoulder. I looked over at him and sighed as I coutinued my walk down the hall to my room.

"It is 4:30 in the morning and mommy has three more hours before she has to be up and ready for school." I explained to him as we finally reached my room. I opened my door letting it shut slowly behind me and headed for my bed. I put Wesley down in the middle of my bed and put a pillow in front of him and then I got in bed behind him.

"Now if you are going to sleep in here with mommy you have to actually sleep." I whispered to my baby boy as I closed my eyes.

"Kay mommy." I heard Wesley say before a stream of snores came from him. I sighed to myself before falling back asleep once again.

Two years ago I got pregnant by Quinn Justin Andersen who was the star quarterback at the time and one of the most troublesome boys at school. We had been paired together for a project and somehow I ended up giving in to him and we created our mini human. Once Quinn found out that I was pregnant he stayed as far away from me as he could and he ended up getting in a relationship with Kimberley Jones, the queen bee of the school. I on the other hand ended up getting together with the captain of the basketball team, Derek Taylor.

Derek and I have been on and off for the past two years but we always seem to come back to each other. At the moment we are on with each other and I am content with keeping it that way. Quinn and Kimberley have stayed together for the past two years even though at time it seems like they hate each other.

Beep Beep Beep came the sound of my alarm over at my bedside table. I looked over at the alarm which read 6:30 and I slammed my hand over it to turn it off. I looked over to my other side and saw that Wesley was still fast asleep which was unusual for him.

Any other day this past week he would have been up and trying to shake me awake or jumping on the bed. His being asleep still worried me so I placed my fingers over top of his head and sure enough he was burning up.

"Ugh." I sighed as I got out of bed and headed to my bathroom. This was not the most ideal situation for me to deal with today. My parents were away on vacation with my older brother Andrew because he had just graduated from college. I had no one to take Wesley to the doctor or to watch him.

I also could not miss a day of school because I was trying to have perfect attendance but being a parent I have to do what I have to do.

I pondered how I could fix this situation to work in my favor as I showered and finally the answer hit me even though it was one that I disliked with a passion. I hurriedly finished my shower and dried myself and then headed to my closet to pick out an outfit. I ended out picking out a pair of purple sweatpants, a baby blue polo shirt, and my favorite pair of sparkly bailey bow ugg boots.

After I finished getting dressed I checked on Wesley who was still asleep on my bed. He seemed to be still running a fever so I quickly gathered my notebooks and books for school and put them in my bookbag. Then I ran down the hall to Wesley's nursery and gathered a few of his things and put them into his diaper bag which had his favorite cars on it.
