"Well, I could ask the same about you. I haven't seen you around, and this is my normal routine." He says.

"One could say I am not from around here I suppose. I'm a bit of a traveler who enjoys a good time, if you catch my drift." You let out a flirty giggle, deciding this man could be quite a fine next meal of yours.

"A traveler? How amusing!!" He smiles, seemingly not reacting to any of your flirty gestures. How bothersome. Alastor straightens up his posture, fixing the bow tie around his neck with graceful movements. "Say, do you have a place to stay or have you just arrived?"

His face holds that smile you haven't seen him without, and it takes everything you have to suppress a more sinister look of pure enjoyment at your luck.

"Well, I don't actually have a place to stay for the night. I've just come into this part of the states recently. Do you know a place I could stay perchance?" You make sure to add a submissive lost tone to your voice that always gets people swooning and eager to help out.

"It just so happens I have an extra bed in my residence!! It's a bit far out in the woods away from most civilization and is quite a walk, but if you don't mind that then I would be delighted to have you my dear." You give him a nod and a thanks, silently thanking whatever gods out there for providing such a wonderful meal who lives far enough from society that the other humans won't be bothered with the noises.

Alastor leads you along a pathway, brushing past trees. The dirt is well trodden with use and the moon begins to peek from behind the clouds lighting the path ahead. Crickets chirp and leaves rustle, only being interrupted when either Alastor or you happen to step on a leaf or twig. Eventually the two of you come into a clearing with a singular house nestled in some bushes and weeds. The place seems kept well enough, although you most likely would have assumed it had been abandoned if you had happened to come across it while traveling.

"It isn't much darling, but I hope it's up to your tastes." Alastor says, holding open the door. You inwardly swoon, the kindest humans had some of your most favourite flavors.

Inside there's a coffee table lightly covered in dust with a ring in the shape of the bottom of a cup. A leather sofa and recliner are around it and a small dresser table with a radio on top sits to the side. The floor beneath your shoes is a rich mahogany and the walls are covered in creamy wallpapers that are  only slightly frayed at some of the edges. The room seems to feel cozy overall and smells of old books.

Alastor leads you deeper into the labyrinth of his home, past a small hallway and into a kitchen. There are knives of various sizes in a container and some produce sitting around. A metal rooster and a single painting decorate the kitchen with a table with an autumnal red tablecloth sitting on top.

"Would you like some food?" Alastor asks, already fetching some things from the icebox. "My mother used to make me the most delectable jambalaya, and although I can't recreate it to a point it still tastes quite delicious." You nod, taking a seat at one of the two chairs surrounding the table.

The sound vegetables getting cut is a steady rhythm to your thoughts as you begin to think on the best way to end him. He seemed nice enough to where you didn't exactly want to give him a slower death, but cute enough to where you still wanted to watch the life slowly drain from those pretty brown eyes resting in those sockets of his. After some time, you begin to feel hungry and decide to just get it over with.
