Charlotte is walking into her first day of school, her stomach in knots as the nerves are finally kicking in. Charlotte didn't know what to expect, it's the first day of 9th grade, the first day of high school. It sounded weird for her to say "I'm in high school"and not middle school but I guess that's just the way growing up works.
She walked threw the halls while her eyes were scanning the place. New faces, new people. It's the start of the school year so of course your going to hear people saying hi to eachother and running up to give their best friend a hug.
But at the moment, charlotte wasn't worried about that. In her hand she had the number of her locker written down in a little piece of paper. The school sent it as an email but charlotte wrote it down just in case the internet doesn't work on her phone or she loses the email. She's is a very big over thinker.
She reaches a hallway, hallway 5, this must be where her locker is. She walks down as there was already people putting school supplies from there backpack up to there locker.
As she walks down she notices a familiar face, blonde curls, blue eyes. Oh no, walker scobell. She really didn't want to see him today, she would be lying if she said she didn't think about him right before she went to sleep last night.
Walker and Charlotte met at 6 years old and became best friends immediately. They shared interest in acting and drawing. They both became actors from the boost of eachother, both supporting eachother and giving each other confidence. That lead to them both getting roles in movies and minor roles in shows. What could have gone wrong?
Well, walker grew up and started showing interest in popularity at school. Charlotte was never really interested in being popular, she didn't care but as walker got into his 2nd to last year in middle school, he cared about it a lot. To the point, that he completely abandoned charlotte with no type of conversation or nothing, just cutting ties with her completely, like it was nothing to him. Charlotte was obviously disappointed and mad about it, her only one true friend that she trusted doing that to her was not easy for her to move on from and till this day she is still mad about it.
Walker is leaning his back on his locker as his arms are crossed, already starting the year talking to a new girl. Charlotte looked down at her locker number and realized she got a locker right next to walker. She really wanted to slap herself in the face as she didn't like the idea of having a locker next to walker.
She passed by him as they locked eyes for a second. A second of those blue eyes looking up at her. She got in front of her locker, locker 25, she started moving the things from her bag to the inside of her locker. She could hear walker whispering stuff into the girls ear as she lightly giggled. She would rather do anything else then stand some feet away from walker scobell talking to a girl.
Eventually the girl walks away, charlotte was a bit more pleased knowing that she didn't have to hear them whisper/talk to eachother. She could see from the corner of her eye walker lightly glancing at her with a smirk as he took out his books. She felt a bit tense but tried her best to act normal.
Charlotte knew that this was going to be a not so great year for her.
