Ducky
King Crisp
(We hear wind and the camera scans the kingdom. The kingdom is busy with work and trade. The camera switches to grass. It sways. Then dark red paws pounds on the ground. The camera zooms out and we see NIKKO pounce on DUCKY.)
NIKKO
Haha! Take that!
(SHADE jumps and runs into NIKKO)
SHADE
Look who's on the ground now!
NIKKO
Hey! Not fair! You're defending Ducky!
DUCKY
When was that a rule!
(NIKKO pushes SHADE off of him. DUCKY grabs SHADE's paw and they run off. Suddenly, KING CRISP appears in front of NIKKO as he tries to run after his friends.)
NIKKO
Oh, uh, Hi, Dad.
KING CRISP
What are you three doing here in Dragon Kingdom?
(SHADE and DUCKY stalk forward towards the king)
KING CRISP
You kids should know to not come here.
(NIKKO dips his head)
NIKKO
Sorry dad.
KING CRISP
Shade, Ducky, you two need to get back to your royal duties. You do not want to lose your shot at becoming top guards. I would like a word with my son.
(SHADE nods, and runs off. DUCKY follows. KING CRISP walks out of Dragon Kingdom with NIKKO.)
KING CRISP
Nikko, you and your friends can not be messing around like that. You will become king soon and Shade and Ducky will become guards soon also. There will be no time for your roughhousing.
NIKKO
It's called fighting practice Dad!
(KING CRISP shoots NIKKO a sharp look.)
NIKKO
Look Dad, I know big changes are coming, but everything will be okay!
KING CRISP
Sure son, sure.
