prick has a safety pin on his beanie to represent that he is a safe space, while scrap has a necklace with a safety pin as a promise to not kill himself.

pricks goggles were something that riddle gave to him, so he never takes them off.

delusion's name comes from the fact that sometimes he is felt to be something thats unreal

spiral's name represents how he went lost himself and then changed

demantoid's name represents his strength, which is also the real meaning of the demantoid garnet.

kalideo's name symbolizes how he changed and the endless possabilities he's able to make.

devlin's name represents how unlucky he is

vile's name obviously symbolizes his sins

crimson's name represents his courage, love and excitement

cardinal's name represents how he finds hope in everything

sembalance's name shows the difference between how he is on the inside vs the outside

riddle's name represents how nobody was able to figure out who he was

Scrap was the oldest out of three siblings. He lived on the streets his whole life since his father was a psychopath and couldn't get a job, and his mom had to quit since she couldn't work 3 jobs while being pregnant. So, the family ended upon the streets where scrap and his brothers were born. While the father was usually out getting drunk or smth and the mom was busy trying to get a job again, scrap was left to take care of his younger siblings. He wasn't bad at it, since he was pretty good at stealing and scavenging without getting caught. One day, a man offered scrap and his siblings something to eat. They took it, and the siblings ended up eating all of it since scrap had his own food. Little did they know, it was drugs. The siblings didn't know, but they kept on going back for more. Scrap didn't really understand why, so he did much of nothing about it. But alas, the two siblings got extremely sick, and while being weak, they didn't have enough time to dodge the car that was heading straight towards them. Scrap didn't watch this happen, but he found their bodies decomposing on the side of the road. After the two died, the mom fell into deep depression and stopped trying to earn money. Meanwhile scrap's father brought scrap to the train tracks every weekend. He always spoke about a dark gray, lean korat cat who stalked the train tracks with a crow at his side. Scrap thought his dad was just hallucinating, since he couldn't see any cat or crow. One day, after scrap got back from scavenging, he heard his mother screaming. He was curious, so he followed the screams until he was met with the sight of his dad standing over the mom's bloodied body, a knife in hand. When the dad turned around and saw scrap, he burned scrap multiple times as a punishment for snooping around. Later that night, his mom was reported dead. Scrap knew that it was his dad who killed his mom, so like any rational person he was terrified of his insane father. He ran away, and ended up camping at the train tracks. A couple months later, he spotted a figure standing on the train tracks. As he got closer, he realized that it was his dad. Scrap didn't dare even call out to him, but it was too late, since a train suddenly appeared and hit the dad. Once the train passed, the body was gone, and instead was the cat and crow sitting right where his body should be. After scrap got over his moments of shock, the cat explained to scrap that his name was vile and the crow's name is devlin (shocking ik) and that they needed help. They explained that in order for their world not to collapse, they need the dragons that helped bring the world to prosperity to bring it back. The problem is that those dragons are all dead. The only way for them to come back is if their souls live in a host's body. Apparently, scrap's father was the perfect candidate for this. But of course he had to die. So when vile and devlin saw scrap, they realized he had potential to be that host. Scrap was slightly hesitant at first, but he agreed. Vile and devlin also explained that scrap will still have control of his body, but a dragon's soul will just be in his head. This also prevented him from dying, unless the dragon killed him. Vile and devlin said that they would probably have to wait so Spiral and Demantoid could do their magic stuff. Vile and devlin were willing to stay with scrap in the meantime. They ended up going back to the city, and lived in an alleyway next to a bar. Eventually, scrap ran into someone a year younger than him named Prick. Scrap didn't want to leave this kid alone to fend for himself, so scrap reluctantly let prick shelter with him. Scrap thought Prick was annoying and he was too clingy to scrap. But as time went on, scrap found himself enjoying the clinginess slightly, and no longer felt like prick's accent was annoying. Prick eventually explained his story, about how he didnt see his parents much since they were always working. He had a brother 6 years younger than him named Riddle that he also had to take care of. One day, Riddle got ahold of the parent's alcohol and had a lot of it. He ended up getting alcohol poisoning, and died the same night they realized he was poisoned. Prick decided to run away out of guilt, also because of how much he was being neglected. Scrap felt bad since he also lost his family. As the two got close, Scrap couldn't bare the thought of losing prick, so he explained everything to him. Prick also didn't want scrap to leave, so vile and devlin decided it would be fine if he came along. After a couple months, Spiral and Demantoid were ready. Remember those train tracks? Yeah turns out those train tracks are a portal. The train that runs on them is what triggers the portal. Which means that the body of scrap's father is likely in the other world, which means his soul is too. When they got there, Scrap became an anthropomorphic Australian cattle dog (matching Prick's plushie!!) and prick became an anthropomorphic golden retriever. They also found out that vile had been possessed by Crimson, Devlin possessed by Cardinal, Scrap possessed by Semblance, and Prick had been possessed by...Era.

Rlly smol summary of everything (with extra info at end): so spiral and demantoid found this land and a buncha others came with them. At the time spiral and demantoid were rlly powerful and so this tiny dragon named era wanted to learn their power. As the continent's population grew larger and larger, era's power did too. One day humans came to that world and started invading it, and so all the dragons went into hiding underground. Except for era, and their small friend group she formed. They constantly sneaked above ground. One day, era got gifted a journal. She wrote tons in it, like spells and all about spiral and demantoid and even a map of the whole continent. With how much power she had, she was sick of spiral and demantoid being the leaders. So she trapped spiral in a dream state of consciousness, and then built a temple. Spiral's dreamspace was in that temple, where then she ould control spiral and kill any humans who wandered into the temple. The temple was also the main, direct way into the human part of the continent. She also turned demantoid into a hallucination, along with his two creations. She trapped one of the hallucinations in the walls of kalideo's circus, while the other one joined spirals. Meanwhile demantoid, he got trapped in the temple too, but this time in the basement. He was like the hallucination that got trapped in kalideo's circus, he just kinda..floated. She wrote down the ways to free the two, and then buried the journal for safe-keeping. But, one day, a dragon dug it up. Unknowingly, she ended up giving it to a young dragon - Crimson. Crimson ended up reading everything, and made it out of the underground. He did encounter spiral along the way though. One day, he got pulled aside by two figures. They were also dragons, semblance and cardinal. Turns out, they were banished from the underground by era after they tried killing one of her guards, and were left outside for the humans to find. The three end up becoming a small group.

The circus: a circus full of dragons made by spiral and demantoid. it was made to entertain children, but when the dragons fled the circus was left behind. Era found it, and turned it into a restaurant with performers. She made it a restaurant to lead humans in, where then the dragons would kill the haumns.

Basically the world; a huge continent with human culture and how it is today, but there are ancient structures everywhere that are unexplained. Dragons are rumored to had lived on the continent, but There is also the once in a lifetime chance of seeing a real dragon. No humans knew where the dragons went. To them, most of the dragons are dead but there are a couple still living on the continent, but nobody can find them.
