John had moved out three weeks ago to live with his newly wed wife Mary, now you live in Johns old room. You were sitting on the couch while Sherlock sat in his armchair across from you. He was bored since there has been no cases for the past week. Outside it was pouring down rain when out of nowhere the power went out and as if almost on cue there was a flash of lightning which made you jump. Then the loud clap of thunder rang in your ears. The thunder made you yelp and hide under the coffee table.
"(Y/N)!"Sherlock said in alarm when he heard you yelp. He then felt around for a flashlight. Once he found one he turned it on and called for you again "(Y/N)!" Thunder growled again and you whimpered. Sherlock heard you and found you curled up in a ball under the coffee table. He pulls you out and holds you tightly against his chest.
"(Y/N) its alright I've got you." He said holding you tightly. You snuggled into his chest and fell asleep.
