Astra's POV

All I could see was her eyes twinkling in the dark, staring back at mine. We were both in bed, causing the distance between us to be slim. I could feel her breath trickling down my neck as I brought her into a hug, "I love you so much darling." I sighed, struggling for breath as the face of my lover was so close to mine. "I love you too sunshine." Alya replied, planting a soft kiss on my nose and brought me into the crook
of her neck as she fell asleep.

Me and Alya have been dating for two years now, every minute of that time has been complete bliss. We have done so much together, seen so much I can't even name it. And now I have her, the love of my life, in my arms forever. We have been through some rough patches but we have gotten through them, as that is what every happy couple does. Phoenix and Leo have taken our relationship well, I feel that it did take them a while to get over us both. But they got there in the end.

At dawn the sun started to trickle through the curtains, causing rays of oranges and yellows to dance across the ceiling. They were long flashes of light, appearing and then disappearing just as they arrived. The light was greeted by birds chirping, signaling that the day has started. They chirped a low sound, which complemented the start of the day. Along with this my love started to stir.
"Good morning my lovely," I chirped with a wide smile. Alya looked up at me, her face starting to scrunch into an emotion that I couldn't understand,
"How long have you been awake for?" She asked, her voice at a low whisper as she was waking. "Not long." I replied, not wanting to ruin the moment. I looked down at my Alya just as my breath was taken away. The rays of light from the curtain were flowing across her face. This making her bright eyes even brighter, and her freckles more prominent. "You are so divine, everything about you is so bewitching." Light pink started to highlight her cheeks, her eyes then darted away from mine. A smile started to twitch onto her face, not very noticeable but not unnoticeable either. "Hey," I whispered, placing my fingers under her chin, hinting at her to look at me. "You are breathtaking, never forget that."

Alya's POV

This girl has me under a spell.. Everytime I see her, hear her, butterflies pool at every nook of my stomach. And this time is not an exception. "You're getting brave!" I spluttered not knowing what to say next. To this Astra stuck out her tongue and started to unravel from my arms. I let out a grunt of disapproval at her leaving me alone in this cold bed. "Hey," she eased, "we need to leave this bed at some point, we have school to go to"
"Fine, but I am not going to be happy about it!" I sat up and crawled out of bed, all I could see was the silhouette of my girlfriend but that was enough. Before she could move, I grabbed her around the waist inching her into a hug. Astra let out a sigh and rested the back of her head against my collarbone. This girl. I closed my eyes, not wanting this enchanting moment to end. "Come on, we need to go."
