This career wasn't what I wanted.

At all.

When I was younger, my father who owned an entertainment agency cast me in a reality TV show which was my biggest role in a multiple season show with other children my age. Most of us continued in the entertainment industry, however only one did not continue and disappeared into the world. Nobody knew what happened to him.

By the time the show officially ended, both my parents rushed me into joining the entertainment industry. So, they made me train to become an idol.

"We understand that you're still young, however, this is the perfect time for you to join the entertainment industry especially becoming an idol. You have a charm that the idol world is in need of. To help you, we'll make the group centered around you and we will be promoting you the most to ensure you have a comfortable future under all your fame and glory."

"Okay." Only being 10 years old, I signed the contract without any further questions. I did not know how anything worked. I was just a young girl, not knowing any better about this industry and having no knowledge of the realities.

My mother soon became the manager of all my activities, while my father planned all my activities already for the next 5 years. It was so demanding, but I just did it. In order to fulfill my parents' expectations.

I was thankful to my parents, however, our relationship has always meant business. Both paid little to no attention to me when we were home, both didn't notice when I would be gone for days not even because of my idol activities, and both never spoke to me outside of business talk. It was annoying, but stay thankful... I guess. I just felt lonely. That was all.

All I was asking for was to no longer feel lonely in this whole process.

I just wanted a friend.

...

After training for 2 years, my father called me and told me to head to one of the large practice rooms in the building. Today was the day I was able to meet my potential groupmates for the long awaited project.
