"Not much." I say as I go to sit on my chair.

"Can you keep a secret?" Taylor asks Alex.

Oh never mind then. I guess we are working on something.

"I kept my relationship with Natalie a secret for a while I'm sure I can keep a secret." Alex says and I laugh.

"Good point." Taylor says and I hum. "So we're working on an album."

"Well yeah I would suppose so with the amount of time you guys have been spending here in the studio." Alex says and I laugh.

"Good point again. Right well yes, but this album comes out in two weeks."

"You're kidding."

"Not at all."

"I'll take that as another birthday gift, because holy crap now I'm excited." Alex says as quiet and excited as she could.

Taylor looks at me and she gives me a certain look, in which I just shrug my shoulders.

"It's your music, I can't decide for you on that."

"Do you want to listen to a song?"

"Wait really? Yes please." Alex says as she sits on the couch next to Taylor.

"This one is called my tears ricochet." Taylor says and I spin around on my chair.

"Out of all the songs you have so far you're going to let her listen to that one? You're cruel." I say shaking my head.

"It's a good one!"

"Well I know that but for a first listen I think you should use track 4."

"This track is so good though and come on she'll love this." Taylor says.

"I'd grab tissues, you're my sweet wife, who's been extra emotional."

"Oh. I'm scared?" Alex says as she looks at Taylor. "Tay we're family you know you can always come to me and talk to me."

"You scared her Nat."

"No I didn't, just press play."

While Alex listened to the song, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out from my sweats and looked at the contact.

Interesting.

I walked out of the studio and took the phone call, to not interrupt.

Alex's POV

"That was good and heartbreaking. Tay I'm serious you can always come talk to me. We're family." I say as I grab her hand. "I'm here for you."

"Thanks Al." Taylor says with a soft smile.

"So do you have someone you call home? Or have you ever had someone you actually felt as if they were home?" I ask cautiously.

Before Taylor can answer Nat walks back into the studio, the expression on her face was worrying.

"Babe everything okay?"

"Naya Rivera." She says and I furrow my eyebrows, confused as to why she was mentioning her, we had never encountered her, well at least I hadn't.

"Nat what about Naya?" Taylor asks and I turn to look at Taylor, her face showed worry.

"Do you guys know her?" I ask.

"Nat what about Naya?" Taylor asks, both of them ignoring my question.

"She- um.. she died." Nat says as she sits in her chair. "She's dead."
