I had a gut feeling this will be Rohit and Virat's last T20I. I don't know why. I just could feel it. Before the finals, I told my friend I wish Virat-Rohit do well in the finals and Rohit wins it as a captain. They might retire after this, I want this to be their best day. I can't see them like that day in november again. She told me to stop thinking like that. They have a few more years, as we all wished.

But it had to happen and it did.

I'm happy they ended it on a happy note. And I'm happy they could end it together. These two have been through so much together and have had each other's back throughout. The hug after the win spoke so much.

Virat, my forever favourite, the man I started watching cricket for, the man whose performances I've prayed for, his retirement feels personal. Now it's all just hitting, y'know?

He can't play forever but I just wish he could.

I'm an adult now but he is a part of my life that will always take me back to childhood. And now it's all just slowly going away. It's just- Idk how to explain this. He has won all the ICC trophies now and the tears explained how much it meant to him.

You've given me a lot to cherish, Virat. You've inspired me when I needed it, made me happy, given me so much to remember.
Thank you. Thank you so much.💙
