The Beginning of it all

During spring break my friend and I decided to find the missing treasure don't worry, it wasn't my idea. Let me get you up to speed. So there I was minding my own business in my house When suddenly my friend barged in telling me to turn on the news. Still wonder how the heck she got into the house. On the news they were talking about how you can win up to $10,000 and keep whatever you find, don't get me wrong I was interested but did I want to go in the middle of nowhere to find some treasure that no one has yet to find? But then I thought to myself this might be a great opportunity plus it's free money you just have to put in a little bit of work. Finally, after rethinking I decided to pack my bags, oh you must be wondering "How can I just go where my parents are ?"Well, let's see" I never met my dad and my mom god knows where she is, She is barely even home. That's why I'm so close to my friend. She is going through the same thing as I am. We relate to each other. Her dad is always working and chooses to be in his office rather than be a father to Mya. The next morning we went down to the news station to tell them that we were going to try and find the treasure. They gave us a bracelet so that they would be able to track us and give us our plane tickets. When we got on the plane I had an uneasy feeling but I brushed it off. Hours later we landed and there was a car waiting for us to take us to our hotel. We arrived at our hotel in the PH suite and it was beautiful. We woke up at 8:00 am and got ready and by 9:15 am we were walking out of the hotel When we got out the front desk lady gave us a bag a compass, a first aid kit, flashlights, and a letter

Thank you for agreeing to find the lost treasure I hope everything went smoothly with the plane and hotel you have 14 days to find the treasure if simply can't find the treasure there will be someone to pick you up and return you home safely but if you happen to recover the lost treasure as promise you will be able to keep whatever treasure there's and the $10,000 each I hope you can find the treasure in 14 days many have tried and they also failed. I had the same feeling when I got on the plane and when I told Mya she told me "Girl stop worrying everything is fine okay trust me"

I wanted to trust her. I did but I can feel that something will happen. I just know it. When we went to the first shop on the list we asked if they knew a person named Tyuis when we asked him the look on his face told us everything, he had this look of horror and surprise on his face. Suddenly Mya had to go to the bathroom and there I was sitting by myself until this old man walked over and asked me if I was looking for the lost treasure I replied, "Yes" hoping he could give me some information about it all he told me was to

"Leave while you still can people come looking for the same treasure but no one is ever heard of again and they never leave the island". Suddenly he left when Mya came back from the bathroom I tried to explain everything to Mya she brushed it off and said

"You have been like this since we got on the plane. If you didn't want to come, why are you here? Look if you want to go back to the hotel you go right on ahead but I'm staying to find this treasure" Mya says

"you're not understanding I came because I didn't want you coming here by yourself I'm just trying to look out for you that's all," Kay said

"Well, I don't need you to I'm fine on my own so I going to find the treasure I'll see you later*Mya started walking away while I just stood there overthinking like usual.

I don't want to ruin her time here, I'll just go with her*." Wait, I'll come with you." Kay said

We walked for what seemed like hours until I spotted something in this antique store.

"Let's go in," Kay said.

"No, there's nothing in there but junk," Mya said.

"Well, I'm going in." I walked in and I was surrounded by junk, dust, and even stuffed animals that looked creepy." I picked up a book and opened it and then I put it back and started coughing due to the dust

"Can we just leave?" Mya sneezes.

"There's a lot of dust in here," Mya says

"I know," Kay said as she walked over to the pictures on the wall.

"Kay, what is so interesting about those pictures?" Mya says as she walks over to Kay. "Kay? Kay?" Mya says

"Look at this picture do you see someone who looks familiar," Kay said
