Infected

Shortly after retreating from the laboratory and seeking refuge in a nearby shack to tend to their wounds, V is forced to find entertainment via her memories with a stressed Uzi keeping an eye on her. However, due to the intrusion of a vira-wasp, V's memory core gets infected and she is forced to experience long-forgotten memories before being confronted by a familiar face regarding her feelings for N.

Before you read I would like to warn you that this is an AU, so the characters will be acting differently than their canon counterparts. Anyway, I just wanted to give you guys a heads-up, especially for V.

Today was not a good day. It could go down as one of the worst days Uzi has had to live through, right below walking in on V grooming herself. She was so close to the truth, so close to finding out what she was. Now, because N couldn't bear to live in a world without his 'Beloved V,' they're stuck in a run-down shack that looks like it was built by a couple of toddler construction drones. To make things worse, a terrible snowstorm kicked in, causing the place to rattle, creak, and moan. And, according to the time on N's HUD, the sun was about to come up.

N himself was in 'Auto Sleep Mode,' whatever that is, which only leaves her with V. Now Uzi isn't very fond of V, given that she's tried to kill her on multiple occasions while N wasn't looking, as well as coming up with crazy-ass thoughts and ideas only a psychotic murderer would have. Like, who in their right mind would see Hitler as a hero?! But it's not like she's afraid of V, oh no. She wishes for her to give Uzi any reason to disassemble her, any at all. But, regardless of how much she wants to, Uzi knows how shattered N would be if she killed V, so she retains her urge to grab her by the throat and pop her head clean off her shoulders.

V, on the other hand, looked like your average bored teenager, walking around aimlessly, trying to find something to do. Not even traumatizing the local mice that constantly scurried by her feet would entertain her, though, she still contemplated on the thought. Normally, she would try and provoke Uzi by insulting her, but, today was one of those rare days where even that wouldn't cure her boredom. Oh, how she wished she could be in the sky right now, flying freely, not having to worry about the harmful UV Rays from the sun, disemboweling delectable construction drones and siphoning their sweet oil from their remains.

Just the thought of it made her drool, and Uzi's constant growls and pacing were not making it any better. One, she loves nothing more than to pounce on a target who has no idea they're being hunted. Either it's the face they make when they see her, looming over them, or the helpless yelp they emit once tackled. Or it could be the constant squirming they do as they try to resist her. The more she thinks about it, the more she can't help but tackle Uzi right now and suck up every bit of oil in her veins. But I guess she knew what V was going to do because, in that instant, she quickly turned to her with a menacing glare.

"What? It's not my fault I find your lack of caution around me amusing." As she said that she slowly lifted her right hand up and quickly bare her clawed fingers. A sinister chuckle escaped her lips while Uzi just rolled her eyes and sighed. Once again, V was toying with Uzi, and it was indeed entertaining until 5 seconds later when the boredom kicked in again.

A few more minutes of complete silence passed before V became irritable. No matter what she did nothing seemed to entertain her, even toying around with Uzi lost its charm. Now, sitting by a wall opposite of N, leaning her head back to stare and what you would barely call a roof, she has to wait until N finishes with his stupid repairs, and god knows how long that's going to take. Then again, every disassembly drone is different. Each one is carefully crafted by SCJenson to take on different foes as well as survive harsh environments, excluding places with no cover from the sun. Almost everything plays an important factor when it comes to recovery speed, even placement plays a hand in this.
