I heard my cat call out in her pitch voice
I groggy open my eyes while adjusting my eyes to the darkness in the room.

"Hey pixie" I called out to my in a raspy voice before sluggishly dragging my ass out of my heavenly bed

I quickly check the clock beside the nightstand before running into the bathroom,I quickly took a 10 seconds bath before jumping out of the bathroom

I quickly got dressed in a black shorts and grey hoodie,I tried my shoelaces while thinking if it's a good idea to put a comb into my hair that looks like a bed nest before deciding against the idea
The last thing I want now is pulling out my skulls

I quickly packed my rough hair into a small buns while checking the time which say 8:36 and sure enough,I was 6 minutes late

I quickly run out of the door after kissing pixie goodbye which she replies to with a lazy meow

In New York city there's nothing like sleep, the night in New York is always lousy and busy that's why it's always so easy to get a prey

Some people seems to be going to work based on the expression on their face which made them looked like they've been run over by a truck

While some people has an expression of relief in their face while some wore a tired expression on their face

But on the other hand they're people like me who simply wait in the dark, searching for a person with loose guard, to attack

I quickly look around before making contact with a woman who seems to be in her late forties and from the expression of tiredness and relief she wore on her face and the way she was walking faster than others, I could tell that she's just returning home after hours of working..... Just the perfect prey

With a smirk on my face I dashed towards her direction in a fast pace then smack her hand in an accidental way causing her to drop the bag, without second thought and hesitation I quickly grab the bag before running like a chicken in heat while voices and scream sounds in my ear like a drum

But I didn't stop, I kept running like my life depends on in ..... Well it's actually does

So I just started a new story, this is the prologue and I hope it's okay and watch out for grammatical errors cause English is not my first language 😅
