1st person POV:

'Sam? Do we really have to go this way? Mom said to not to go this far..'
- you say following your cousin Sam into the forest behind your house

'Oh please, get your mind out of homework and books for once, have fun!'
- Sam says, grabbing your hand and pulling you down the faint and overgrown pathway.

'Where are we going?'
-you ask as she drags you into and between bushes, loosing sight of the path that was previously used.

'To an old spot me and my mom used to go to!'
- Sam says as she finally reaches a pathway that leads to the ocean

'Woah! This is awesome!'
- you say sitting down and running your hands through the water

'I'm so hungry though, and I didn't pack any food'
- Sam sighs

'I can go try and find some berries?'
- you ask as Sam nods with a huge smile

1st person POV:
(Sam's POV)

The crows yelled and screeched in the air, as a familiar yell for help echoed throughout the forest. Though I couldn't tell where it was I ran through the forest as quickly as I could with my legs, and I make it to late, a boat was setting off the shore and screams were heard coming off the boat.

I tried to make it back to the house without stopping but from how much I had ran, my legs gave out and I fell onto my knees just in-front of the porch, thankfully my mom was over at your house the day it happened and she was chilling out with your mom. And my mom had seen me crying on the ground without you, and rushed out to comfort me

'Sweetheart what happened? Where's your friend?'
- Sam's mom asks as she sees the sadness and anger in Sam's eyes

'Some people! Some guys took them and set sail with them on the boat!'
-Sam cries out causing your mom and her mom to stare blankly at her with different emotions clearly planted on their faces.

'It'll be okay. We'll find her.'
- my mom says as your mom gives her a pained and look full of terror

YEARS LATER

3rd person POV:

'Lara! The one and only famous archeologist who doesn't want nothing but to find out about the lost city of yamatai! And to find out what happened to her parents!'
- Sam exclaims videoing Lara for her usual daily vlog update

'Could you ever be more serious Sam?'
-Lara laughs as she turns her head away from the camera

'I am very serious, thank you!'
- Sam exclaims, nudging Lara's arm jokingly

'Sure you are, go get breakfast with Roth. I need to finish examining these then I'll talk to you. '
-Lara says to Sam while looking out and pointing out spots on a map

'Ugh fineeee, I'll go record Roth and Joslinnn'
- Sam sighs walk out with her camera in hand

'What do you mean we're heading a different route?! We've already discussed this!'
- James exclaims looking at the map on the table

'I think the dragons triangle will lead us to the lost city of Yamatai! We need to go to it!'
- Lara exclaims fighting back

'I'm the professional here! And we've already planned it all out, I am telling you this!'
- James says rubbing his head as Sam records them

'And I'm the captain. We're going to the dragons triangle.'

- Ruth says making Lara scoff

'Already dad.'
- Lara says leaning against the rail separating the balcony from the edge of the boat

'You'll understand it soon enough Lara.'
- Ruth says then someone comes to talk to Sam so she cuts off the camera
