It was only a few weeks later that the next attack happened. The Knightmare was on patrol at the end of lunch, all the kids were making their way to lessons when he noticed his ex's best friend was holding a button in her hand as she walked past
A little shocked, The Knightmare grabbed her arm and said "what's the button for?"
"A suprise for you" she sneered and pushed him away as she pressed the button. Black sleeveless robes replaced her uniform and a single bladed lightsaber fell into her hand.
"The burners and their allies shall win this war!" she yelled and she ignited her purple blade. The Knightmare went for his own weapon but April (The girls name) Pushed him with the force. Forcing him off his feet across the playground into a tree. Shocked, dizzy and in disbelief that he had been betrayed by one of his closest friends. April leaped towards him. Lightsaber aimed to plunge right in his heart...
The Knightmare knew what to do. He rolled out the way and when she landed; threw sparks of force lightning at her. April screamed in pain as her body was badly burnt. The Knightmare then stopped the lightning, used the force to bring his weapon to hand and ignited it. He looked over to the weakened and pained traitor and his anger took over him. He pulled her towards him with the force and aimed the blade at her chest. She was killed instantly.
The Knightmare held a funeral for her bravery and courage even though she had tried to kill him
"She was a caring and honest girl," The Knightmare said. Standing over her coffin."Although she fought for the wrong side, she showed respect and loyalty. What she did might have been a suicide attempt to some. Others may find it heroic and inspiring. I do not wish to kill everyone that attacks me. April was just unlucky." He then left the coffin and went back to his house to meditate on what had happened.
