Panic attack (Emily Blunt)

This is your first time of shooting ever, you have passed the auditions and callbacks. The director loved you and you have already met all of your co-stars, one of them being your celebrity crush Emily Blunt. She was really nice.

However, on this first day, you're feeling so anxious and scared to work around many talented people. You're currently locked in your trailer having a panic attack. If this doesn't pass, you're going to be late on your first day. You know there is no way you're going to calm yourself so you send a text message to Emily, hoping she wouldn't judge you too much. She seemed really adorable when you guys met and it was her idea to exchange numbers.

Though your hands are shaking, you succeed in writing the following SMS : "My trailer pls ? Emergency"

Less than two minutes after you hear someone knocking.

"Hey Y/N, it's Emily. Can you open the door for me ?"

You start to wake up on the floor where you were sitting to let her in the room. When she sees you her attitude shifts to a more protective one.

"I came as soon as possible, are you okay ?" she says getting closer to you.

You're afraid to meet her eyes, you get back on the floor sobbing, your legs to your chest so you can hide your face between your knees. She sits next to you and puts her hand on your arm. You stay like this for a little while. Until you finally find the courage to talk to her.

"I am so scared. I know this is dumb but it's my first movie and all of you have experience. I don't fit in, I am not good enough to do this."

"Y/N, please look at me"

You don't listen to her, so she gently grabs your chin and forces you to meet her eyes.

"Your feelings are completely valid. In fact I was feeling like you for all my first movies and sometimes I still do. I saw your casting tapes, they are amazing. You are talented I know it and you're also very funny, and beautiful. I promise you, you can do this. I believe in you."

You are stunned by her words, you have stopped shaking. Your eyes are still lost in hers. She hugs you, feeling you needed it. You feel safe in her arms, like you belong there. When you finally separate, you say to her.

"Thank you, I don't know why I called you but I felt like you would understand."

"You don't have to thank me, it's absolutely normal. You can call me whenever you need it, I am here for you. Now let's go get you in the makeup trailer, you have to get ready."

She blinks at you and you both get up. Before getting out of your trailer, you leave a kiss on her cheek.

The rest of your day went amazing and you even forgot your panic attack this morning. All of your scenes went perfectly, the director was glad everyone did just a great job. You are fully reassured for the rest of the shooting. After all, it is your dream to become an actress and you are on the right path to succeed. You're daydreaming about your future career when Emily enters your trailer. You gasp getting out of your thoughts.

"Oh my-, Emily you scared me to death" you say laughing.

"Sorry, I should've knocked. I just wanted to check on you after what happened earlier."

"Everything was perfect, I feel a lot more confident now thanks to you."

Emily's cheeks are getting a bit red, did you just make her blush ? She tries to keep her composure and continues the conversation.

"I was thinking that you'd like to train for our scene tomorrow. Just doing lines and having a little practice."

You nod. "This is a great idea !"

You both grab a script and start acting the scene again and again. You don't realize it at first but you're getting really closer as the scene goes on. There is some strange atmosphere in the room, you do one more. However, at the end, no one is talking. Your eyes are looking into each other's souls. And she makes the first move by tucking a piece of your hair behind your ear and whispers.

"You are perfect and I am not only talking about your acting."

This is too much, you grab her neck and finally kiss her. She kisses back. Her lips are soft and you just forget everything. The two of you are in a bubble.

When you pull apart, you don't know what that means, you just hope it will last because with her you feel complete and nothing else matters.
