In three days earth's population dropped by 75% to be honest we saw this coming a year ago

It started three days ago or to be specific the screaming from down the hall the first day was the worst around 10 pm I first started hearing the scream it wasn't until 4 am that it stopped based on the history of my neighbors down the hall it didn't make me worry that much I decided to sleep in the next day so I didn't notice how quiet it was around 3 pm that day I heard some knocking at my door walking to the door I could see that someone was standing in front of the door looking through the peephole no one was there stepping back I saw that the figure was back. That's when the knocking started it was as though a multitude of people but soon a disturbing symphony of wails and groans like the gates of hell were open right outside my door let us in let us in let us in!!!!!!!! the screams became unbearable almost driving me into pure insanity waking up I realized that another day had passed somehow I ended up back on my bed around 3 am On the third day I was woken up by something talking to me from the door getting up I noticed that it wasn't coming from my door it was coming from my window and despite what my very being was telling me I looked out the window just to see it staring back at me that was two days ago they know I'm here even if I get out of this I won't ever forget what I saw I'm currently in my room I've locked the door but I know it won't hold because around 10 mins ago my front door was blown open it's in here looking for me waking up I heard my door open.
