The True Luthras

(Hello everyone, I don't know wether you all will like this twist in the story or not but I really think that this was neccessary. Please do tell your opinions about this chapter in comments. Sorry for the delay.)

Scene starts in Luthra Mansion,
Rajveer was sitting in the hall....teary eyed, his heart burning with pain and anger as the Luthras excluding Sameer.....everyone was berating Shaurya, who according to them was dead 8 years ago.

Rakhi: Mujhe toh yakeen hi nahi ho raha hain ki Shaurya zinda hain aur yeh baat usne ab tak chipa kar rakha.
Bani: Aakhir kya mila Shaurya ko humein pareshaan karke?
Kavya: Aur kya milega dadi? Use mazaa aa raha tha humein guilt mein dekh kar. He just wanted ki hum sab aise hi usko yaad karte rahe....aur usko mahaan banate rahe sabki nazron mein.
Nidhi: Bilkul sahi kaha Kavya ne. He is just a spoilt brat. Hum khamokha itne saalon tak uske marne ka shok manate rahe.
Preeta: Par usne yeh sab kiya uska koi toh motive hoga na? Vo aise hi kisi ko kyun pareshaan karega?
Kritika: Aapko abhi bhi samajh nahi aaya bhabi? Vo hamesha se attention paana chahta tha.....hamesha se chahta tha ki hum sab mare uski presence ke liye mare...usko hamesha...harr mauke par yaad kare and due to all that usne yeh kadam uthaya.
Kareena: Kritika is absolutely right. Shaurya hamesha se hi selfish hain...he is self obsessed. Agar humne bachpan mein hi use ghar se bahar nikaal diya hota toh aaj aisi naubat aati hi nahi.
Manish: Humari hi parvarish mein koi khot reh gayi hogi jo Shaurya aisa bann gaya bada ho kar. Koi itna khudgarz kaise ho sakta hain? Aur toh aur Sameer bhi usi ki wajah se Karan ko sunane lag jaata hain. Samajh hi nahi aata hain Sameer ko ki Shaurya kitna bada dhokhebaaz hain.....bohot bada chaal baaz hain.
Shrishti: Sach mein....agar pehle pata hota na ki Shaurya aisa niklega toh kabhi main usse itna attached nahi hoti...never.
Preeta: Sharam aati hain mujhe Shaurya ko apna beta kehne mein.....aaj usi ki wajah se....Karan ki yeh halat hain....uska haath toot gaya.

"Uncle ka accident hua ismein Shaurya ka kya qusoor hain?"asked Suhana standing at the entrance of the door teary eyed.

Shrishti: Tum kaun ho?
Suhana(teary eyed): Main Shaurya ki bestfriend hoon...Suhana. Vo sab chodiye....aap mujhe mere sawaal ka jawab dijiye aunty ki Karan uncle ke accident ke peeche Shaurya kaise zimmedar hain?
Kareena: Shaurya zimmedar nahi toh aur kaun hain? Shaurya ki wajah se hi Sameer ne Karan ko bohot sunaya aur usi ke baad Karan ka accident ho gaya.
Suhana(teary eyed): Toh fir ismein Shaurya ki kya galati hain? Shaurya ne toh Karan uncle ko dhakka nahi maara na uss truck ke aage? Infact usne toh unko sahi wakt par hospital pohochaya.

Manish: Haan bohot bada kaam kiya hospital pohocha kar. Usko bas mahaan bann na tha aur kuch nahi....he just wanted ki usko sab mahaan samjhe aur kuch nahi.
Suhana(teary eyed): What nonsense? Aap log hamesha Shaurya ko galat kyun samajhte hain?
Rakhi(teary eyed): Galat toh hum use pehle samajhte the......par ab humari aankhein khul gayi hain. Usse bada dhokhebaaz iss poori duniya mein aur koi ho hi nahi sakta. Bad dua deti hoon main use ki vo kabhi khush nahi rahega.
Suhana(teary eyed): Aap sab aisa kaise kar sakte hain? Ek baar bhi unhe samajhne ji kosish kyun nahi karte? Shaurya waisa nahi hain jaisa aap samajhte hain.....
Kritika: Dekho Suhana....tum uski bestfriend ho toh tum yeh sab bologi hi. Par hum uske gharwale hain...tumse behtar jaante hain use. Vo bohot bura hain....hamesha usne humse jhooth bola hain.
Kavya: He is nothing more than an attention seeker......uski life ka sirf ek hi motive hain.....self obsession.
Suhana(teary eyed): Dii aap......
Rajveer(not looking up)(teary eyed): Suhana.....mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hain.....
Preeta: Kya baat karni hain?
Rajveer didn't said anything and left the room with Suhana.
Rakhi: Yeh Rajveer kya baat kar raha hoga?
Kavya: Zaroor yeh bolne gaya hoga ki Shaurya ko iss ghar se durr rakhe. Aakhir Rajveer bhi toh Shaurya se nafrat karta hi hain na?
Shrishti: Haan....vo toh hain.....infact I am glad ki Rajveer Shaurya jaisa nahi hain...aur na hi kabhi Shaurya jaisa banega. Mujhe toh bohot garv hain Rajveer par.
Manish: Sirf tumhe hi nahi Shrishti....hum sabko garv hain Rajveer par. Aakhir usi ki wajah se toh humare ghar mein nayi peedhi aane waali hain.....humara business naye mukaam par pohocha. Ab bas Shaurya humari life se chala jaaye...fir waapis se hukare ghar mein khushiyaan hi khushiyaan hongi.

Next morning,
The cool wind raced against Rajveer's skin as he opened the window of the cab. There was a smile on his face as he moved towards his new journey of his life. However, this time he was not alone.....his brother, Shaurya, Suhana and his love of life, Palki along with their child was included in their journey.

Last night after hearing all the things about Shaurya....Rajveer realized that no matter what.....Luthras will never change...nor will  they ever even try to understand Shaurya and his feelings.

"Family is not everyone's safe place"

Rajveer, Suhana and Palki realized the last night that the above quote was perfect for Shaurya's life. Luthra family was never Shaurya's safe place and not only his....but also Rajveer's safe place to bring up his child. So...sometimes choosing your own happiness over family can give you the freedom to live your life.

Rajveer wanted to give the same peace to his brother, Shaurya atleast after so many years and now...what Rajveer wanted was...a happy family with Shaurya, Suhana and Palki and his child.

Scene shifts to Luthra Mansion,
Manish was continuously trying Rajveer and Palki's number but it was coming switched off.

Manish: Samajh hi nahi aa raha hain dono kaha chale gaye hain.
Preeta: Palki ki aisi halat mein.....Rajveer use kaha le kar chala gaya? Agar ghumane le kar gaya hain toh phone kyun switched off hain?
Rakhi: Agar humare waaris ko kuch ho gaya toh main unko kabhi maaf nahi karungi....(crying)....kabhi maaf nahi karungi unhe.

Sameer stood up sighing and came to his room making an excuse when suddenly his eyes fell on a letter kept under a paper weight.

The Letter

Chachu, main aur Palki jaa rahe hain Shaurya aur Suhana ke saath apni nayi zindagi jeene ke liye. Ek nayi zindagi...ek nayi shuruwaat. Hum kaha jaa rahe hain yeh baat main aapko kuch hi dino mein bata doonga chachu lekin aap please iske baare mein kisi se mat kahiyega....Luthra family se toh bilkul hi nahi. Main kyun jaa raha hoon iss baat ko explain karne ki zaroorat mujhe nahi hain....wajah aap pehle se hi jaante hain chachu. Bas yahi asha karunga chachu ki aap khush rahe....aur Luthra family ko ek din iss baat ka ehsaas ho jaaye ki kyun main aur Shaurya unhe chod kar chale aaye....kyun apne bacche se kabhi unhe milne nahi diya.  Mere message ka wait karna chachu aur Maa aur maasi ka dhyaan rakhna.

Sameer sat down with a melancholic smile on his face. Though his heart pained knowing that now he would he able to see Rajveer and Shaurya only a few days in a month but still.....it was better than seeing Rajveer and Shaurya living in this oppressive Luthra house and suffering mentally only to get used for the business profit and good will of Luthra family.
