You Don't Understand

The Next Morning

[F/N]'S POV

I awoke upset still but I get up and grab my things for a shower and boy was it soothing. After I clean up I relax in the bath in the open shower room. I put a cloth over my eyes to help me relax...I could...rest my eyes...just for a .....little bit..

ERWIN'S POV

I felt bad still since I hurt [F/N]'s feelings, well Levi said those things. But he really didn't know the situation and he said that he would apologize, maybe a shower will ease my mind. I finish my shower in my quarters, but I still feel down, I need to talk to her so I go to her room and I knock and no answer. I turn the handle and it isn't locked so I peek in.

"[F/N] are you in here?"

I enter to find no [F/N], I wonder if she is in the public showers. I reach the showers in a hurry and I knock...no answer again.

"[F/N] are you in here? Are you alright, [F/N] please let me explain-"

I walk in and my eyes widen in shock as I see her under water in the tub and looked unresponsive,

"[F/N]!! No please no, don't leave me now [F/N],"

I get her out immediately and start CPR, Tears fall down my face as I remember that she was upset with me, if those thoughts were in her head before this, please [F/N], live. She suddenly spasms and starts coughing up water and so I turn her to the side to let it out. I wrap my arms around her tightly as if she would disappear if I let go.

[F/N's] POV

I wake up in a coughing fit..why? Then I'm suddenly embraced tightly, I squirm but to no use. I look up and I see its Erwin.

"Erwin what are you doing in here, get off, stop, what's going on, embracing girls in the shower room. Do you always do this to new recruits or something, please leave so that I can get dressed."

I am blushing like crazy, sure I was angry that he was in here, I look down at my state of dress and now I panic, how much did he see. I do have a towel so that's good.

Erwin turns away blushing, "I-uh...I put the towel on you to help your decency, and you were underwater unconscious, I thought I lost you, please be more careful."

I nod but then realization hits me, "Whaa?! I almost died, that's crazy, Erwin thank you and I'm sorry, I-I guess what Levi said kind of clouded my mind."

"It's okay [F/N]."

He helps me up and hugs me again, but this time my body felt fuzzy,

"I don't blame you [F/N], if I was in your position I would be bothered by it as well, but...please believe me, I don't think ill of Nile, and asked for the situation that you are in now, rest easy, I wouldn't take advantage of you."

He looks into my eyes parting the hug but I move forward to deepen the hug shocking him as he stiffened.

"I'm sorry for this Erwin, I-I just, when Levi said those things, I was upset and angry, but I didn't have enough confidence to talk back, I guess I get hurt too easily."

Erwin cups my chin, "You are a kind and gentle woman, maybe too kind for your own good, but I like that about you, [F/N] bring some sunshine to the Survey Corp...and uh...Don't fall asleep in the bath again."

I blush remembering that I am in a towel, "Uh Erwin, I'm going to get dressed, I'll meet you in the training grounds for that tour."

He blushes as he turns to leave, "S-sorry, I'll just be going."
