"What about her?" takang balik na tanong niya pabalik.

"You are old enough now. Why don't you give it a try? Nakikipaglapit siya ulit sa atin. I think ikaw din naman ang puntirya niya. She is always looking for you."
"I am only thinking about Sunshine, Pa." He swallowed hard.
"Keep her as long as she is settled. But if she wants to go, don't fight too much. She could make you land into a prison, and she could drag our name with it."
Nasipa niya ang gilid ng sofa. Hindi ito ang inaasahan niya sa pag-uusap na ito. But he would still take the risk. He couldn't lose Sunshine.
Lalabas na sana siya ng study room ng tawagin siyang muli ng papa niya.
"What?" paangil na sagot niya dito.
"May naisip ako. Let's talk about it, but I need your full cooperation."
Hindi agad siya kumilos sa kinatatayuan.
"I'm sorry, son. You shocked me, I am not expecting you to resort to this. Hindi ako nakapag-isip agad but I did now, so hear me."
Tinitigan niya ito bago niya nilingon ang couch sa tabi niya. He walked there and sat looking and waiting for his father to speak again.
